WWE seemingly confirms team name of newly formed Tag Team 

WWE has had a renewed focus on their tag team division, that has been reinforced by the addition of a new tag team. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso combined to take the tag titles away from The Judgment Day at WWE Fastlane.

The two fan-favorite stars are enjoying their first run as champions together and made their first successful defense this week at RAW against former champions Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. The babyface team didn’t have an official team name yet, but that might have changed if WWE’s action on Instagram is anything to go by.

The company asked the fans what should the new tag team champions be called through an Instagram poll. The poll for naming the team of “Main Event” Jey Uso and “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes was not close, with the fans picking an overwhelming favorite.

The two options available to fans were “The Main Event Nightmares” and “It’s just them, Uce!” with the fans choosing the former as their pick. You can look at the results below.

Austin Theory and Grayson Waller to challenge for tag titles at WWE Smackdown

The match is scheduled to take place on Smackdown.

The new tag team champions have been on a roll recently on WWE television and clearly enjoyed their title win at WWE Fastlane, as made evident from their celebrations at the press conference after their big win at the PLE. The champions, however, can’t afford to rest on their recent laurels as new challengers line up.

The champions had announced that they would be hosting an open Challenge on Smackdown, which was accepted by the team of Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. The match has now been set for Smackdown, with the challengers hoping to put a breaker in the title scene.
