Bron Breakker takes immense pride in being a second-generation WWE Superstar. He comes from a highly-respected lineage of in-ring performers and likes living up to the challenge.
Breakker is the son of Rick Steiner and nephew of Scott Steiner, which raises expectations for the budding star. However, he sees it as an opportunity to challenge himself and continue to improve as a top performer on WWE NXT 2.0.
He opened up about navigating his way in the business as a second-generation superstar during an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling. Breakker revealed that the standards have always been high for him and his brothers. He feels that the expectations surrounding him only push him to do better, and he is comfortable with the challenge. He was quoted as saying:
"The standards have always been high for myself and my brothers growing up. So, it is nothing really new to me or anything like that. The bar is high, it is what it is. I have to compete at a higher level than everybody else. I have to do things to a higher standard because it is expected out of me. I expect it out of myself. It has been that way pretty much my whole life. So, it is what it is. I welcome it as a challenge." [6:57 - 8:21]

Bron Breakker on winning his maiden title in WWE in front of his father
Earlier this year, Bron Breakker defeated Tommaso Ciampa to win the NXT Championship for the first time. His father and legendary WWE performer Rick Steiner was in the audience.
The two men had a brief celebration after the show went off the air. Breakker looked back at the moment and described it as something he will remember forever.
"It was such a cool moment, it's something that I will remember forever," said Bron Breakker. "He was just proud of me and hugged me, it was a cool father-son moment. Just really glad that he got to be a part of that whole thing." (9:27 -- 10:09)
Breakker lost his NXT Championship last week, but his maiden title victory will forever be memorable due to the aforementioned celebration.
