WWE has announced a Battle Royal for the upcoming edition of Monday Night RAW for the Women's World Championship vacated by Rhea Ripley last week. Several wrestling fans have taken to social media to push for Nia Jax to become the new champion.

The Eradicator was forced to vacate her title last week on the red brand's show after suffering an unfortunate injury. The 27-year-old injured her right shoulder on the RAW following WrestleMania, as she was attacked by Liv Morgan. Several top female superstars will compete in the Battle Royal later tonight on RAW to crown the new champion.

Ahead of the much-anticipated match, WrestleOps shared a post on X, asking wrestling fans to name their pick for becoming the new champion. A large section of the WWE Universe mentioned Nia Jax should hold the title in the absence of her long-time rival, The Nightmare.

Nia Jax returned to WWE in September last year, attacking Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez during their championship bout on an episode of RAW. The Irresistible Force asserted her dominance over the Women's World Champion before challenging The Judgment Day member for the title at Elimination Chamber. Jax put forth a great performance at the premium live event but could not dethrone the champion.

Wrestling veteran criticized a segment involving Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan on WWE RAW

Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan came face to face after the Aussie Superstar addressed her injury on RAW. However, multiple security guards prevented the two rivals from making any physical contact.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, wrestling veteran Vince Russo suggested a different end to the segment. The 63-year-old stated that Morgan should have attacked Ripley as he criticized the creative team for not doing so:

"Bro, you know the gimmick? Put the other shoulder in the folding chair and come off the top rope. You want to put heat on her, put heat on her. This is what I don’t understand about Triple H, Michael Hayes, Paul Heyman, and all these people who know everything about wrestling. We’re not gonna see Rhea Ripley for months and you want to get heat on Liv and you’re not gonna do it that way?"

Rhea Ripley relinquished the titles after being the champion for 380 days. It remains to be seen who will win the Battle Royal tonight on WWE RAW and become the new Women's World Champion.

Who do you think will be the new champion? Sound off!
