At Survivor Series: WarGames on November 30, LA Knight will defend the United States Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura. This match will mark Nakamura's return to in-ring action at a premium live event for the first time since he participated in the Royal Rumble earlier this year.
While fans are naturally excited to see the Japanese superstar in action again, there is a chance SmackDown GM Nick Aldis might add a stipulation that could majorly affect the 44-year-old's chances. Aldis could ban Nakamura from using the mist during the title match with Knight, failing which he would be disqualified.
Shinsuke Nakamura has developed a reputation for using the mist in his past rivalries, particularly in the one against Cody Rhodes last year. Hence, it won't be surprising to see the former United States Champion doing something along these lines again unless restrictions are placed on him.

To prevent Nakamura from having any unfair advantage, Nick Aldis could threaten to disqualify the Japanese if he used the mist during the match.
While this angle is speculative, it would massively favor LA Knight, and it will be interesting to see how Nakamura could work around the stipulation should it come to fruition.
Wrestling veteran says Shinsuke Nakamura will end LA Knight's United States Championship reign
LA Knight's road to winning his first title on the main roster, the United States Championship, was not an easy one. Knight had to wait a long time before he was booked to win the gold. And when it eventually happened at SummerSlam 2024, the 42-year-old received a huge pop from the crowd.
While The Megastar has ambitions of doing great things during his United States Championship reign, a wrestling veteran recently suggested Shinsuke Nakamura would end Knight's reign at Survivor Series: WarGames. During an episode of the Straight Talk with The Boss podcast, wrestling veteran Greg Gagne said:
"I would have to say they probably would have to go with him [Nakamura]. That new entrance he made, he looks pretty awesome." [52:12 - 52:20]

If Shinsuke Nakamura does end up beating LA Knight for the United States Championship, it would be the Japanese superstar's first title in 1022 days. The last time Nakamura was a champion in WWE was in February 2022, when he held the Intercontinental Championship.
