NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II kicked off with the first match of the night. Joseph Conners defeated A-Kid and Dave Mastiff defeated Kassius Ohno in the kickoff show. Later in the night, the NXT UK Championship would be up on the line as Walter was set to face Joe Coffey while Kay Lee Ray would face Toni Storm and Piper Niven for the UK Women's title.

Seven hit a big move right out of the gate for a near fall and Eddie hit a Razor's Edge of his own in reply. Seven hit a Superplex for another pin attempt but Dennis kicked out. Eddie hit a Razor's Edge to the outside onto a cameraman.

Seven went down after a Neckstomp Driver and Eddie picked up the win.

Result: Eddie Dennis vs. Trent Seven

Kay Lee Ray (c) vs. Toni Storm vs. Piper Niven - Triple Threat Match for the NXT UK Women's Championship

Storm attacked Ray before the bell rang and Niven took out Ray with a dive after the champ escaped the ring. Ray dropped Niven on the apron before Niven hit a senton on both opponents at the same time.

Ray got a steel chair in the ring and used it to choke Storm but Niven took Ray out to save Toni. Niven and Storm teamed up to send Ray to the outside. Ray dived off the top rope and took the duo out shortly after.

Niven hit Storm with a powerbomb and Ray hit a senton on top of them. Niven hit the Michinoku Driver and almost got the three-count. Niven hit a destroyed Ray and Storm hit the Storm Zero but Niven broke the pin.

Storm hit a Frogsplash on Niven in the ring but Ray got the pin after taking Storm out.

Result: Kay Lee Ray def. Toni Storm & Piper Niven to retain the NXT UK Women's Championship

Tyler Bate vs. Jordan Devlin

What a match!

Bate picked up Devlin and tossed him out of the ring as the match went on and Devlin hit a Uranagi from the apron. Bate hit a frog splash but Devlin drove his knees into Bate's gut.

Bate hit a standing shooting star press but couldn't get the win. Devlin hit a top rope Spanish Fly move and then his finisher but Bate kicked out. Bate hit his own finisher but then had to hit a twisting corkscrew splash from the top rope for the win.

Result: Tyler Bate def. Jordan Devlin

Match rating: A+


Gallus (c) vs. Andrews & Webster vs. Grizzled Young Veterans vs. Imperium - Ladder Match for the NXT UK Tag Team Championship

The fatal 4-way devolved into complete chaos early on and Andrews & Webster were dominating the match. The veterans took steel chairs to them but were wiped out by Imperium using the same chairs. Andrews & Webster hit a big dive and set up the ladder but Imperium took them out and started to climb up.

Gallus had to step in and they used the ladders on their opponents. A few minutes later, there were five ladders in the ring and all eight men were up on top of them. One by one all of them went down but Andrews was still up before Gibson took him down.

Andrews & Webster hit their double finisher as they got a ladder but Gallus stood in their way. Gallus took out tables and they ended up going through them in a minute.

Wolfgang sent Aichner through a ladder, snapping it in half before Gallus climbed up the ladder and got the titles.

Result: Gallus retained the NXT UK Tag Team Championships

Walter (c) vs. Joe Coffey - NXT UK Championship match

Walter went for a big boot off the bat was Coffey was too quick. The match went outsdie and Coffey was sent over the barricade.

Back in the ring, Coffey hit a stalling suplex but failed to get the three-count. Coffey hit some knife-edge chops but they only angered Walter. Coffey went for a flying dropkick off the top rope but Walter caught it and locked him in a Boston Crab. Walter locked in hold after hold from the STF to a chin bar before Joe got to the bottom rope.

Walter hit deafening chops before they traded lariats. The official went down and Coffey missed his chance at a pin. Alexander Wolfe invaded the ring and kicked Coffey in the face. Ilja Dragunov took out Wolfe and the match went on.

A second official was now in the ring and the men were kicking the snot out of each other again. Walter locked in a sleeper hold before Joe tapped out.

Result: Walter def. Joe Coffey to retain the NXT UK Championship

The Undisputed Era came and took out Imperium before they took Walter on and Adam Cole finished him off before the show closed.

Match rating: A


PPV Rating: A+

This was one of the best UK PPVs in a while as the ladder match and the UK women's title match stole the show. The main event didn't disappoint either and Bate vs. Devlin was easily the most hardcore match of the year but it may be too early to call it.
