Paul Heyman plays an important role in The Bloodline's storyline, and his eventual return can change the trajectory of the plot. However, The Wiseman might not return alone and may bring another important piece to the puzzle.

Paul Heyman stayed by Solo Sikoa's side for a while after Sikoa took control of The Bloodline. However, The Wiseman was hesitant and disagreed with many of Solo's choices. Heyman's refusal to acknowledge Sikoa as The Tribal Chief led to him being attacked by the group and he has been absent from WWE ever since. Fans expected him to return alongside Roman Reigns or Jimmy Uso, but Heyman has yet to reappear even with both men back. Interestingly, one name that could potentially join Heyman upon his return is Rikishi.

Rikishi is a WWE Hall of Famer and a wrestling legend, but more importantly in the context of The Bloodline's story, he is part of the Anoa'i family and the father of The Usos and Solo Sikoa. However, he also plays a more hidden and vital role in the structure of the Anoa'i family.

The original elders of the Anoa'i family are known to be Afa and Sika, collectively known as The Wild Samoans in the Stamford-based promotion and the duo who awarded Roman the Ula Fala that began his dominance as The Tribal Chief. Both men passed away a few months ago, which means a new "elder" can take their spot on the throne, a role that can fit Rikishi due to his knowledge and experience, and a tool that The Bloodline can utilize.

It also helps that despite being no longer a superstar, the Hall of Famer remains active and updated on the story of The Bloodline through his social media, often showing support for The Usos and Solo's achievements.

When does Paul Heyman plan to return to WWE television to get involved with The Bloodline story again?

Although fans have not seen the Hall of Famer on television for a while, he has been spotted multiple times backstage on both RAW and SmackDown, as well as the 2024 SummerSlam. However, he is in no hurry to return to TV.

While speaking at the Fanatics Fest NYC event in August, Paul Heyman shared that he will only return to television when he can add something to Roman Reigns and The Bloodline's story and not just "ride coattails and hang off of his glory." Seeing how The OTC is still rebuilding his tribe and is fixing his relationship with Jimmy, and possibly Jey, it might be a while before Heyman's expertise is needed.
