The WWE title picture has turned around a lot since the beginning of the year, and many more twists and turns are expected to change the landscape in the coming months. The storylines feature major surprises every week, which has added more excitement among fans for the matches.

Compared to the start of the year, there have been several new title holders crowned over the past few months, and many more are expected to come in the future.

Let’s check out which superstar could hold which title at the end of the year.

#11. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions - Asuka and Kairi Sane

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez currently hold the women’s tag titles, but Liv’s recent injury is seemingly set to cause a vacancy after the stars potentially relinquish the titles. WWE could capitalize on the returning Asuka, to reunite the Kabuki Warriors.

Asuka and Kairi Sane winning the belts after SummerSlam would bring new faces to the division and set up feuds with newer teams. With strong booking and momentum, they’re the perfect duo to dominate and carry the gold into 2026.

#10. WWE World Tag Team Champions - Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed

The New Day are the reigning World Tag Team Champions, but their reign may not last long, with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed rising as a major tag team under the supervision of Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman.

Their raw power and recent dominance on the red brand make them a natural threat and could lead to them picking up the titles to assert their dominance and power, which is what Rollins and his faction are all about.

#9. WWE Tag Team Champions - Fraxiom

The Street Profits are currently riding high as the WWE Tag Team Champions, but former NXT Tag Team Champions, Fraxiom, has already garnered a lot of attention since their move to the main roster.

With fans rallying behind them after their standout performances, the company could push Fraxiom into the title picture very soon. While the duo may not win the titles straight away, the company could take some time before putting the titles on them by the end of the year.

#8. WWE Women’s United States Champion - Giulia

Zelina Vega currently holds the Women’s United States Title, but the company is clearly building toward Giulia’s inevitable rise. The latter attacked Vega a couple of weeks ago on SmackDown, teasing a big feud between them which would undoubtedly be a treat to watch for the fans.

Considering Giulia’s phenomenal run in NXT and her rapid move to the main roster, she could win the title very soon and reign for a long time, potentially entering 2026 as the champion.

#7. WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion - Lyra Valkyria

Becky Lynch recently became the Women’s Intercontinental Champion after defeating Lyra Valkyria at Money in the Bank, which has elevated the status of the title drastically. Bayley has now entered the fray and a feud between both women is now being teased for the gold.

However, considering Valkyria’s rise to the top, she could end up with the title once again in the next couple of months and go on to have a career-altering title reign to end the year as the champion. She could also display her incredible skills when she goes against veterans such as Becky and Bayley.

#6. WWE United States Champion - Aleister Black

Jacob Fatu has been a dominant United States Champion since WrestleMania 41, but a dark force may be rising in the title scene very soon. Aleister Black returned to the company recently and has already hit the headlines with his performances.

In the next couple of months, Black could enter the US Title picture and potentially win it by the end of the year to finally get the push that he deserved in the industry for years.

#5. WWE Intercontinental Champion - Finn Balor

Dominik Mysterio has held the Intercontinental Title since WrestleMania 41, but the cracks within Judgment Day could soon cost him. Finn Balor has been slowly teasing a betrayal, and a title match at a stage like SummerSlam is likely the plan.

Considering Balor’s hard work without a singles title run for years now, defeating Mysterio for the gold at SummerSlam would be a treat to watch. Further, this could lead to The Prince having an extended reign as champion to finally get back to the top of the industry.

#4. WWE Women’s World Champion - Becky Lynch

IYO SKY has enjoyed a solid reign as Women’s World Champion since dethroning Rhea Ripley, but Becky Lynch might not stay away from the world title for long. Lynch is currently engaged in the Women’s Intercontinental Title picture but could soon shift her focus as soon as she drops the title.

Considering her remarkable career work and popularity, Lynch could soon make her presence in the title scene and defeat SKY to become the new champion to begin another long reign.

#3. WWE Women’s Champion - Jade Cargill

Tiffany Stratton currently holds the WWE Women’s Title on SmackDown, but her reign could come to an end very soon. The Stamford-based company has been building up Jade Cargill as a powerhouse and could push her into the title picture very soon.

Cargill could soon hold the women’s title by defeating Stratton at a stage like SummerSlam, stunning the WWE Universe, and build potential feuds against the likes of Bianca Belair at a grand stage like WrestleMania next year.

#2. WWE World Heavyweight Champion - Seth Rollins

Gunther currently sits on the World Heavyweight Champion’s throne after defeating Jey Uso recently, but the looming Money in the Bank briefcase could turn things around. Seth Rollins won the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match this year and has an opportunity to cash in on any champion at any time he wishes.

Considering the latest developments, Rollins could use SummerSlam as the stage to cash in his contract and become the new World Heavyweight Champion, and dominate over the roster with a Roman Reigns-level title run.

#1. Undisputed WWE Champion - Cody Rhodes

John Cena shocked the world by turning heel and then ending Cody Rhodes's year-long title reign at WrestleMania 41, but his legendary run feels like it’s nearing its end. The American Nightmare is slowly, but surely, finding his way back to the title picture and will undoubtedly challenge Cena for a rematch very soon.

Considering Cena’s run, Rhodes would be the perfect candidate to defeat The Franchise Player and become the champion again, which would probably come around the end of the year, when Cena’s Retirement Tour also ends.

Time will tell what WWE has in store for the stars in the future.
