#4 Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens (SmackDown Live)

Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens both unsuccessfully challenged Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship.

Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler were ordered to team together by Shane McMahon last week on the Kevin Owens Show against Heavy Machinery in a tag team match in which the winners would be added to a WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship Title match that also involved the New Day and SmackDown Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan and Rowan.

While Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler put up an excellent performance, they were defeated by Heavy Machinery after Dolph Ziggler accidentally hit Kevin Owens with a Superkick to get the pinfall victory. Kevin Owens then attacked Dolph Ziggler after the match and laid him out with a Stunner as a result of the Showoff costing him the match. He seemingly turned face after taking out Dolph Ziggler and can become a top face in WWE.
