Projected Winners: WWE World Champions Roman Reigns & Bobby Lashley

In the words of Paul Heyman, these are not predictions, these are spoilers. Simply put, Smackdown's WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and RAW's WWE Champion Bobby Lashley are not losing their championships for a very long time. Money in the Bank is certainly not the place for either man to drop their respective belts.

First we have Bobby Lashley, who has only just begun to show us what he can really do with the WWE Championship. He has so far delivered on all marks, and is providing fans with a "Brock Lesnar-Like" monster heel champ

Lashley seems unstoppable right now, and while Kofi Kingston is a strong competitor and former WWE Champion in his own right, he is simply no match for The Almighty.

Next is Roman Reigns, who some say is currently one of the best world champions in professional wrestling today. Reigns' time as Universal Champion has been a breath of fresh air and a real treat for the WWE Universe. However, his opponent Edge is a much, much bigger hill for him to climb than he's used to

Edge has been hot on Reigns' tail since he won the 2020 Royal Rumble match. While Edge did get his title match against Reigns at WrestleMania, Daniel Bryan's interjection into the match made Edge sour on it. Edge is finally getting the one-on-one match he says he deserves.

While Edge's passion, grit and overwhelming fan appeal make him an attractive winner of this bout, there is no way that WWE is taking the title off of Reigns to give it to The Rated R Superstar.

Edge is over 10 years Reign's senior, and the time frame for Edge sticking around in WWE as an active competitor is slowly going away. While Edge may find himself wearing gold around his waist one more time before he hangs up the boots for good, it will not be at Roman Reign's expense - at least not now anyway.
