Earlier, we noted that Randy Orton was pulled off at the last minute from WWE’s Live Event show at The Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York after the ring announcer revealed that he had suffered an injury in his comeback match against Kane at the house show in Madison Square Garden on Friday night.
The scheduled main event was eventually changed into a Handicap Street Fight match with John Cena going up against Seth Rollins and Kane. However, the crowd were surprised at the end of the main event as Orton appeared and he helped Cena win against Rollins and Kane. He didn’t wrestle on the night but had a run-in at the end. A fan in attendance noted that Orton received the biggest pop of the night.
