Ranking the 5 best opponents for The Usos at WWE WrestleMania 35

Who will the Usos face at the Show of Shows?
Who will the Usos face at the Show of Shows?

The Usos are the reigning Smackdown Tag Team Champions after dethroning The Miz & Shane McMahon at the Elimination Chamber. They would certainly have their eyes on WrestleMania 35 after the dispatch of the makeshift duo. The best tag team in WWE could be on their way out in the very near future, but given how many teams are around in WWE right now and how much the company has promised to push tag team wrestling, they need to stay around.

With that promise in mind, it's clear that the WWE needs to have both Tag Team Championship matches on the main WrestleMania card, and it makes us think about their potential opponents. From makeshift duos to veterans of the tag team divisions, The Usos have plenty of potential opponents, and if they want to steal the show on the Grandest Stage of Them All, these are 5 options the WWE have to seriously consider.

#5. Andrade and Rey Mysterio

Lucha revolution?
Lucha revolution?

Andrade came to the main roster with quite a lot of hype behind him, and his battles with Rey Mysterio have only justified it all, however, he needs to move on from this feud immediately. A singles run at the top would be great, but with all the top stars on Smackdown Live right now, that isn't going to happen, so, teaming up with his current rival and Mexican legend Rey Mysterio seems like a great idea.

It's been rumored for a while. Additionally, the mentor/protege storyline seems like a fun one to take with these two and would give an amazing in-ring contest with The Usos. It may be way too early to give them a title shot at WrestleMania, but given the rumors that have surrounded the superstars for months, it's a great idea which would give both men something significant to do. In the end, it would allow Andrade to become one of Smackdown's top heels, so it's definitely an option.

#4. Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev

An alliance that could be very fruitful in the SmackDown tag team division.
An alliance that could be very fruitful in the SmackDown tag team division.

After battling over the United States Championship and realizing they both came out of it as losers following R-Truth's victory to claim the title, these two men have come together to form a unique tag team pairing. On Smackdown Live, Corey Graves has been explaining the partnership as two men who simply hate losing coming together, and that's a fair concept, but if it is to work, the WWE really need to get behind it.

With more established tag teams ready to challenge on the biggest stage, it's unlikely that Nakamura and Rusev will get a shot so quickly, but they have all the makings of an interesting pairing if they stay together. Ultimately, both men are better as singles competitors, but if the WWE wants to push tag team wrestling the way it deserves to be pushed, then the duo of Rusev and Nakamura need to be given a true chance to shine.

#3. Xavier Woods & Big E

#KofiMania is one of the hottest trends in WWE right now, and while the duo of Big E and Xavier Woods have been great in their support for Kofi, they're amazing performers in their own right. The New Day's main goal is to get Kofi to the WWE Championship in the near future, but a New Day faction with all 3 men holding gold would add another great layer to the trio.

They've been comedy stars for a number of years now, so a serious New Day chasing success would be a very interesting story. Given the chemistry they have with The Usos, it would be a great bout too. In terms of fresh stories, this one would be great, but given how much The New Day have wrestled The Usos over the past few years, fans may be tired of it by now. In all honesty, theirs is the best tag team rivalry of this generation, which warrants a 2-on-2 match at WrestleMania.

#2. Ricochet and Aleister Black

The NXT 4 debuted on the main roster lately, and have already begun teaming up and putting on great matches with their opponents, and if the WWE are insistent on keeping them together, then they need to be pushed hard. These two didn't tag together much in NXT, but if the WWE doesn't have a spot for them in the WWE as singles stars right now, the tag team of The Only and Only and Aleister Black is quite an exciting one.

The duo has defeated The Revival and the team of Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev over the past few weeks, and with their incredible athleticism when paired together, a match with The Usos would be incredible. Admittedly, they wouldn't have the time to build a long story that would make it an all-time classic, but with 10-15 minutes and some freedom, the four talented performers could create magic.

#1. The Bar

Will
Will
they set the bar high at WrestleMania 35?

The Bar has been the most consistent tag team in the WWE for the past few years, and although The Bar vs. The Usos isn't the freshest of matchups, it will no doubt be a great one. The teams have quite a lot of history together. As the Bar has fallen out of the spotlight in recent times, this could be a way to catapult them back into the spotlight and give tag team wrestling the exhibition it deserves.

A lot of fans won't like the sound of this match, simply because of the other storyline options that are out there, but if The Usos want to give a traditional 2 vs. 2 showdown at WrestleMania, this is the best option. It's unlikely that WWE will be able to fit both Tag Team Championship matches on the main card, so they'll likely find a way to have 2 multi-team matches, but if it is a traditional bout, this is likely the one you'll see.
