RAW Preview: 4-time World Champion to potentially return after 7 months, Huge title match (November 25th, 2019)

It's going to be an interesting episode!
It's going to be an interesting episode!

Welcome to the first edition of WWE RAW Preview after Survivor Series 2019! We're coming off one of the best pay-per-views of the year, one where NXT utterly dominated the other two brands, finishing with a score of 4-2 (SmackDown) - 1 (RAW).

RAW was humiliated after winning Survivor Series the last 3 years and it's going to be interesting to see what the fallout is. The only people who don't need to hang their heads in shame are The Viking Raiders, who were the sole winners for the flagship show at the fourth-biggest show of the year.

Either way, it'll be interesting to see what happens now. Usually, the RAW after-PPVs are extremely fun to watch and now that Survivor Series is done, we're going to have a more defined brand split with rivalries within the brand and no crossovers.

We don't expect any crossovers until WrestleMania season or after, so let's take a look at what you need to look forward to tonight!

#5. AJ Styles takes on Humberto Carrillo in a United States Championship match

Will the young Humberto be able to topple AJ Styles?
Will the young Humberto be able to topple AJ Styles?

This match was announced last week but it appears as though WWE has pulled the announcement from their website. We still fully expect it to happen though. Humberto Carrillo has been one of RAW's promising young stars and even in defeat to AJ Styles, his stock has only grown.

He's gone toe-to-toe with the United States Champion and has even pinned him before in a tag team match, proving that he can defeat The Phenomenal One. If the match does happen tonight, then expect some high-flying action between the two elite competitors.

We don't expect Humberto to win since Styles is still on a whole other level as a performer. However, Carrillo can still take him to the limit.

#4. What's next for Seth Rollins?

Rollins couldn't lead his team to victory
Rollins couldn't lead his team to victory

Seth Rollins' terrible run for the last few months continued at Survivor Series. We're not sure if it's a downward spiral, but this is not the same Rollins that earned his way to becoming the Universal Champion and the face of Monday Night RAW.

Despite not having the respect of the WWE Universe, he still had the respect of the locker room and was chosen as the leader of Monday Night RAW. He went all the way until the end and stood toe-to-toe with Keith Lee and Roman Reigns, but it was Lee who proved to be the star of the night (even in defeat) and pinned Rollins clean, eliminating team RAW in the process.

Rollins is going to have to answer a lot of questions now and our question is: what's next for Rollins? More specifically, who's next for Seth Rollins? We may have the answer.

4-time World Champion Sheamus has been on the road with WWE, according to PWInsider. He has been out of action since WrestleMania 35 and is all set to make his return soon. That could be the man who Rollins faces next!

#3. Lana and Bobby Lashley's story continues...

Please end this
Please end this

Here we go again. Last week, Lana declared that it was the happiest day of her life as she had officially filed for divorce that morning. She said that all she wants is for her and Bobby Lashley to be together forever and a distraught Rusev wasn't around.

Lashley went on to squash No Way Jose and sent him back to catering while the happy couple passionately kissed. We're not sure why nobody is mentioning the fact that Bobby Lashley is a married man as well, but ok.

Either way, we expect Rusev to return this week and his rivalry with Lashley to take a new form. He's going to be as furious as they come. The match will most likely happen at TLC, otherwise, what on earth would be the point of all of this?

So that's about it. Expect Lana to come out with Lashley and give an update on her divorce with Rusev, perhaps even confirming it, and Rusev to come out all angry and drive Lashley away.

#2. Will Rey Mysterio call out Brock Lesnar again?

Rey Mysterio took Brock Lesnar to the limit
Rey Mysterio took Brock Lesnar to the limit

Brock Lesnar vs Rey Mysterio was, as expected, an instant classic. The match lasted only about seven minutes but not a second was wasted and it was action-packed from start to finish. Lesnar was beating down Mysterio as expected and Dominick, his son, came out to throw in the towel.

However, Lesnar looked to try and attack Dominick again, only for Mysterio to low blow The Beast Incarnate, something that has seemingly become his kryptonite over the last few years. It led to Dominick introducing himself to the world, hitting a 619 along with his father and then a frog splash. It seemed like for a split second, Mysterio was going to become WWE Champion.

However, it wasn't to be as Lesnar suplexed Dominick and then caught Mysterio, ending his WWE title hopes with an F-5. The ultimate underdog looked great in defeat and he is not likely to be happy with that result. We expect him to call out Lesnar again, but he's only going to get that match at Royal Rumble.

#1. A major TLC rivalry is expected to begin

The Man and The Queen
The Man and The Queen

The Women's Survivor Series match opened the show and RAW had Charlotte Flair, Asuka and Kairi Sane all on the same team. As expected, there would be a rift and it was between The Queen Charlotte Flair and The Empress Asuka.

It resulted in some shoving and the Tag Team Champion Asuka spitting green mist on Charlotte Flair, allowing Lacey Evans to take advantage of the situation and eliminate the multi-time Women's Champion.

Given that Becky Lynch has also gotten involved with The Kabuki Warriors and has openly stated that she feels there's unfinished business with Asuka (who beat her at Royal Rumble 2019), we expect the alliance of Charlotte and Lynch to re-emerge against the Women's Tag Team Champions.

Given that there's no current woman on the roster set to challenge for the RAW Women's Championship, it probably makes sense that Lynch would team with her old rival to go for the Women's Tag Team Championship.

Expect the rivalry to amp up, eventually leading to a TLC match for the Tag Team titles.
