Apollo Crews was expected to face MVP in a defense of the United States Championship last night at WWE Extreme Rules 2020. However, MVP revealed that the match was pulled from the card after Apollo Crews failed to pass a "physical test" of sorts.

MVP then went on to claim that he's the true United States Champion and with the incredible new belt around his waist, he seems to truly believe that as well. Of course, we know that MVP only defeated Apollo Crews in a non-title match on RAW.

With rumors (via WON) that Apollo Crews has tested positive for COVID-19, there's a chance that MVP could be promoted to the undisputed United States Champion.

Otherwise, he might become the "interim" Champion and we'll have a title change by default on RAW. We hope that isn't how it plays out, but we wouldn't be surprised since Apollo Crews would have to isolate for 14 days minimum going forward.
