RAW Preview - WWE Superstars to be renamed, WrestleMania rematch, Former Universal Champion vs. Randy Orton for the first time ever

What an incredible night of action this could potentially be!
What an incredible night of action this could potentially be!

Even though RAW after WrestleMania was an underwhelming WWE show, chances are that the company was just biding its time to put on an extravaganza the following week.

Following the major cliffhanger that RAW went off the air with last week, chances are that the fallout from the angle could play out in a big way on this week's show.

So here's the preview for RAW this week, containing segments that have already been advertised by WWE and speculation about some others that may air on this week's show. Feel free to share your thoughts and views in the comments section below.

Do you guys think that this week's edition of RAW will be better than last week's episode was?

#5 On WWE RAW, Drew McIntyre demands answers from MVP about RETRIBUTION

Drew McIntyre learned, as we did on WWE RAW last week, that T-Bar and Mace are now both allied with MVP, who is seemingly the new leader of RETRIBUTION. What a swerve this was, especially after we found out that Bobby Lashley's business partner had disbanded the first version of The Hurt Business. But Drew McIntyre isn't a man to be trifled with and he will want answers on RAW.

Expect Drew McIntyre to clash with RETRIBUTION members on the road to WWE WrestleMania Backlash. However, one has to wonder if T-Bar and Mace will unmask on RAW and revert to their former names. It really does not make sense to have both men still masked if they're being led by MVP. It just doesn't fit in with MVP's more corporate, businesslike character.

Well, Drew McIntyre will show up on WWE RAW to demand answers from MVP. What the answer will be is anyone's guess. Sound off in the comments if you think you know what MVP is going to say.

#4 WWE RAW stars Charlotte Flair and Asuka will clash once again

WWE RAW has announced that Charlotte Flair and Asuka will clash again on this week's show. This is a WrestleMania 34 rematch which ended with Charlotte Flair ending Asuka's undefeated streak.

One has to assume that whoever wins this match will be one step closer to Rhea Ripley and the RAW Women's Championship. Charlotte Flair cut a passionate promo on RAW last week, and after missing WrestleMania, the ultimate WWE spectacle, for the first time in a while, one has to believe she is not happy.

This is going to be a spectacle! Two women who've raised the bar when it comes to women's wrestling will clash once again and the outcome is certain to be spectacular.

Will The Empress of Tomorrow pick up a big win on RAW this week or will WWE choose to have The Queen, Charlotte Flair, pick up the win on this occasion? Will Rhea Ripley interfere in the proceedings to have this match go one way or another?

#3 Braun Strowman and Randy Orton meet on WWE RAW for the very first time

Yes, they were part of the WWE RAW main event match last week. And no, Randy Orton and Braun Strowman have never met in a singles match until now. How crazy is it to imagine that these two former Champions have never clashed?

Braun Strowman is a former Universal Champion, whereas Randy Orton has accomplished everything there is to do in WWE. It's incredible to think they haven't met in singles action, so this should be a match to watch out for. And who knows what feud or storyline may emerge from this clash?

It is clear that WWE wants eyes on the product, which is why they're doing the show on an episode of RAW instead of a major pay-per-view event. It's also impossible to call the match because these guys win more matches than they lose. Could we see other RAW stars interfere in the proceedings for new storylines to emerge from this contest?

#2 With Maryse's arrival on WWE RAW, the rift between Miz and Morrison could grow quite exponentially

If you watched WWE RAW last week, did you notice how John Morrison felt like the third wheel between The Miz and Maryse? It will be very interesting to see whether we're headed towards a breakup between John Morrison and The Miz in the days to come, instigated by Maryse.

Or whether the three of them will mend their issues, continue to stay as a cohesive unit, and with Maryse's help, dominate the RAW Tag Team Championship picture.

WWE RAW really needs a strong babyface in the mid-card and John Morrison fills the bill to sheer perfection. Whether it's a feud with The Miz, or with Sheamus over the United States Championship or even mixing it up with Jaxson Ryker and Elias, there is no better candidate for any of these roles than a babyface John Morrison, who can show just how athletic he can be, when the heel shackles are off!

Babyface John Morrison could be a big-money player!

#1 Sheamus is confronted by a returning Aleister Black on RAW for the WWE United States Championship

RAW Superstar Sheamus became the WWE United States Champion at WrestleMania when he destroyed Riddle in what was an incredible battle. One has to wonder what is next for Sheamus now that he holds the prestigious Championship.

If you saw this exciting Aleister Black vignette on social media, you may have a glimpse into the future. While Sheamus celebrates his win on WWE RAW, Aleister Black could return to action. Sheamus vs. Aleister Black is a feud that could play out over many months. It could end with Black capturing the United States Championship.

It's criminal for someone as gifted and talented as Aleister Black to be sitting on the sidelines for as long as he has been. A return to WWE RAW would be just the jolt in the arm that the roster needs!

Do you guys think that Aleister Black should be paired with Alexa Bliss as his manager going forward? Let us know in the comments.
