#4 Allows the title picture to move on without Brock Lesnar

Let's be honest here. As much as the WWE would like fans to think that Brock Lesnar makes the title picture go around, he doesn't, and is only a side piece in a much bigger picture. Interestingly enough, WWE seemed to confirm Lesnar as a sideshow piece for now by having Paul Heyman claim that Lesnar would cash in at a time and place of his choosing.
This allows the Universal title picture to move forward without Brock Lesnar immediately in it, which is supposed to be what fans want and also leads to the possibility of a surprise return when the time is right. If nothing else, this is a wonderful setup from WWE, and it puts Lesnar in a perfect role and gives the title picture the refresh it desperately needs.

In the end, Corbin, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn teaming up to take down Rollins is a good strategy. It is also something that gives Lesnar his time off and allows him to again make the return when the time is right. When and where that happens remains to be seen, but at least fans aren't being treated to the same old scenario of the title being held, hostage.
