The newpaper Miami Herald had a column on the WWE NXT Champion Kevin’s parents Terry and Suzanne Owens who celebrated Kevin’s win with great zeal. To note, Kevin Owens won the NXT Title match against Sami Zayn at this week’s NXT Takeover. Kevin’s dad Terry commented on his son’s recent accomplishment “We’re very, very proud of him. We’re living the dream with him. We always knew he had the talent to do this, but it’s something very hard to do. He’s worked so hard and has such passion for this. He has good values, too. He takes care of his family and has a passion for wrestling, something he’s always had.”
Ric Flair presented a signed NXT Title belt to a kid battling several disabilities at the this week’s WWE NXT TV tapings.The belt was signed by all the participants from the Takeover and was presented to the kid in a manner as being won by him in a match.The crowd gave Nature Boy a standing ovation for this act of generosity.
Rob Van Dam’s upcoming movie Three-Headed Shark Attack(which is a sequel to the 2012 movie) completed its shooting in Florida last week.The WWE star was spotted on twitter lounging with actress Dawn Christy Hamil.Check out the pic below
