The event will take place on Raw and SmackDown this week

The WWE Draft/Superstar Shake-up is always an exciting event. The intrigue of which Superstar will move over to which brand, which Championship Title will switch brands, which tag teams or even couples will be split - the anticipation always adds to the fun.

Some Superstars have benefited amazingly from a switch over to different brands - such as AJ Styles, so much so that he is now the face of the blue brand. Others like Kevin Owens, who was the Universal Champion over on Raw, has been underutilised after a brand switch.

The latest round of the shake-up is set to happen this week on Raw and SmackDown Live and here are the top rumors you need to know.

#5 Asuka will move to SmackDown Live

Wha
The Empress of SmackDown next?

The Empress of Tomorrow had a shocking loss at WrestleMania against Charlotte Flair, thus putting an end to her legendary winning streak. Without the streak, it is not clear what's next for Asuka though.

The latest speculation suggests that Asuka might move to SmackDown Live from Raw. This rumor stemmed from the fact that The Empress was advertised for a future Live Event of the blue brand.

This might be a good thing for the Japanese superstar as it opens up possibilities of many new feuds with the likes of new Champion Carmella, or even re-kindle her feud with Charlotte - maybe even a heel attack on The Queen for breaking her streak.

#4 What next for Charlotte Flair?

Is the queen going back home to Raw?

On the SmackDown Live after WrestleMania, The Iconic Duo - Peyton Royce and Billie Kay - made a shocking appearance on SmackDown during a promo by Charlotte Flair, and ended up attacking The Queen.

In the aftermath of the attack, Carmella came out and cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on a hurt Charlotte to become the new SmackDown Women's Champion.

Charlotte losing the Championship right after breaking Asuka's legendary streak was unexpected to say the least. But the rumor doing the rounds is that the reason why Charlotte lost, was to have her move over to Monday Night Raw.

Another hint towards this move is that WWE is supposedly working towards a Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte match for WrestleMania 35.

#3 Rusev teases change

Rusev's situation with the company is hazy at best

Rusev was the fan-favourite heading into the US Championship match at WrestleMania 34, with Rusev Day chants echoing throughout the Superdome. Surprisingly however, it was Jinder Mahal who walked away with the prize.

Even more surprisingly, on the next SmackDown Live, Rusev failed to win the number one contender's match for the US title at Backlash.

Post his defeat, Rusev posted a cryptic tweet, venting his frustration and teasing some big changes in the future. This might be an indication of him making a switch to the red brand in the Superstar Shake-up.

Earlier this week, Rusev was announced to compete in a match with The Undertaker at the Greatest Royal Rumble, but was replaced by Chris Jericho only a day later. Since then, things have been a bit hazy and unclear regarding The Bulgarian Brute.

#2 Kevin Owens/Sami Zayn situation

Ke
Will Raw be the 'Kevin Owens Show' once again?

Not exactly a rumour, rather this was more or less expected after Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn lost their match against Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 34. As expected, KO and Zayn showed up on Raw the next day, asking for a place on the roster.

After a hilarious moment where Angle suggested they try their luck at TNA, the Raw GM offered a contract to the winner of a singles match between the duo. However, the match ended in a no-contest. So, it is not exactly clear what lies ahead for the two Superstars.

After the specific stipulation that Owens and Zayn would be fired from SmackDown if they lost their match, it is unlikely that either of them will go back to the blue brand. However, with new GM Paige, it is possible. It is more probable that they will somehow find a way to stay over on Raw.

#1 SmackDown Live Superstars will be on Raw

Another invasion a la the weeks before Survivor Series?

The latest rumor doing the rounds is that all Superstars of SmackDown Live will be on Raw this Monday.

WWE have announced that the shake-up will be a two-day event, which probably means that Raw superstars might even show up on SmackDown, at least the ones not drafted yet.

This points to something like older Draft segments, where the entire roster would be backstage waiting to hear who will be drafted to which brand.

Some memorable moments, like The Undertaker having a fit of rage after being drafted to Raw comes to mind.
