As announced by WWE, Shane Thorne will face Bronson Reed on the upcoming episode of NXT, which pretty much confirmed the RAW Superstar's lowkey move back to the Black and Gold brand.

Shane Thorne and Brendan Vink were paired up with MVP not too long ago, and the reported idea was for MVP to turn on the duo. However, the plan was dropped, possibly due to Paul Heyman's ouster from the Executive Director's position on RAW.

Paul Davis of WrestlingNews.co reported that while Vink is currently not listed on any roster, the management is a big fan of the 6'5 Superstar from Australia.

It was additionally reported that Vince McMahon likes Vink for his sizeable physical frame. The WWE Boss is ready to take it slow with Vink, who was said to have all the skills required to be a top star in the company, similar to John Cena and Drew McIntyre.

With Thorne set to compete in NXT, it would be interesting to see how WWE uses Vink.
