Tom Colohue was the first to report that WWE had planned a post-WrestleMania Superstar Shakeup. However, the plans naturally changed due to the pandemic and its adverse effects.

Rumors of another WWE Draft have been circulating since WrestleMania 36 concluded, and we now have more details about the next Draft, courtesy of a Fightful Select report.
Sean Ross Sapp revealed that the plans for a Draft had been scrapped repeatedly in the past few months. WWE also had a plan in place to run live shows with a limited number of fans in July. The idea was nixed in June.
The Draft was originally scheduled for the end of August, and it was later pushed back to September. WWE altered the plan yet again by moving the proposed Draft to October. It was noted that the changes have been so frequent that there are currently no updates on when WWE may actually have the Draft.
The report noted that WWE has no plans to end the Brand Split. A decision regarding the date, format, and other additional plans for the next WWE Draft should ideally be made in due time.
