WWE Rumors: Edge and Christian's WWE Network show to get a second season

One of the more popular original WWE Network shows may be back for a second season

What’s the story?

According to CagesideSeats, the “Edge and Christian Show That Totally Reeks Of Awesomeness” is going to return for a second season. This show airs exclusively on the WWE Network and its first season had debuted in February of last year.

In case you didn’t know...

Edge and Christian just recently joined the podcasting world with their new show E&C’s Pod of Awesomeness. Their first episode was last week with guest Goldberg, and this week’s guest will be Shane McMahon.

The heart of the matter...

The Edge and Christian Show That Totally Reeks Of Awesomeness received high praise by the viewers of the WWE Network for not only its humour but for the great cameos as well.

Some of the cameos included Tommy Dreamer, Michael Hayes, and Paul Heyman just to name a few.

What’s next?

Edge and Christian are currently in Orlando for the WrestleMania 33 weekend. They are doing an appearance at WrestleCon, where fans can meet the duo and get their own “5 Second Pose” with the former tag team.

A photo of Edge, Christian and Randy Orton was recently posted to Instagram, so it appears that Orton will likely be a guest on either the podcast or the WWE Network show in the future.

Author’s take

I’m very excited to hear this news. At first, I was worried there wouldn’t be a second season. The reason for the worry was because Edge had said in prior interviews that putting the show together was tough for him due to the amount of time it takes.

The show is absolutely hilarious, and their new podcast is really good too. One of the best moments of the first season was when they attempted to get some redemption for The Shockmaster.

They are an entertaining duo that hopefully will continue to entertain us for years to come.
