#1 Statement released on the Rich Swann situation

What's the latest in this ugly saga?
What's the latest in this ugly saga?

Last week, we informed you that WWE Cruiserweight Star Rich Swann had been arrested, after an incident with his wife, professional wrestler Su Yung. The couple was returning from an independent wrestling show where they were performing when things got out of hand.

Swann, who's been known to have anger issues in the past, grabbed his wife in a headlock after she jumped out of their car, bringing her back to the vehicle soon after. A case of false imprisonment/kidnapping and misdemeanour battery was lodged against Swann.

Rich Swann's attorney Ian M. Pickens stated the following:

At this point, no criminal charges have been filed officially against him so depending on how that process plays out will determine our scope of representation…We're hopeful for a fair and quick resolution on behalf of Mr. Swann, but ultimately the state attorney will make their decision (on potential charges) when they deem it appropriate.

Let's hope this situation works out well for both parties involved.

#2 Sasha Banks took a cheap shot at Paige

These two women are setting the RAW Women's Division on fire

The Times of India had a chance to catch up with Sasha Banks and asked for her opinion of the returning Paige. Little did they expect this reaction:

Paige was gone for a whole year while I was here breaking down doors, creating history. But welcome back, Paige.

Banks is probably just in character, building up the rivalry with her on-screen antagonist. She did mention that Paige's return was a deja vu moment for her, considering Absolution made their return as a trio, much like Banks had with Team B.A.D.

We look forward to Sasha Banks and Paige having some great matches and a memorable feud in the main roster, in the days to come.

#3 Ugly incident transpired between WWE legends

You don't mess with King Kong Bundy
You don't mess with King Kong Bundy

This incident seemingly happened last month, but details of the same emerged very recently. Scott Hall, a man known to have problems with regard to alcohol addiction, showed up in an inebriated state to a Fan Convention in Staten Island, NY and picked a fight with fellow legend, King Kong Bundy.

Brutus Beefcake first broke the news on the Prime Time Podcast on MLW Radio, and later, Dave Meltzer provided the missing pieces of the puzzle. Here's what Beefcake had to say:

He (Scott Hall) was in a vodka rage and started messing with the wrong guy, King Kong Bundy, and things went bad for him.

Never one to take things lightly, Bundy grabbed Hall by the throat. The altercation was broken up before things got ugly.

We're rooting for you, Mr Hall. Alcohol addiction is a dark place to be in. We hope you manage to beat your demons for good someday soon.

#4 Tye Dillinger has an ugly incident with fan

Fans really need to be more respectful of their favourite WWE superstars
Fans really need to be more respectful of their favourite WWE superstars

The life of WWE superstars is never easy, considering the travel and the amount of effort they put in every week to entertain their fans. Some fans just make their lives harder by making disrespectful comments. Tye Dillinger encountered one such fan, at an airport.

We're with Dillinger in this particular regard. WWE superstars are generally polite and courteous towards their fans unless they are unusually provoked.

Let's all be respectful when we meet our favourite WWE superstars.

#5 Alexa Bliss reveals what she can't leave home without

No, it's not her title
No, it's not her title

The RAW Women's Champion, Alexa Bliss, recently caught up with Daily Star and revealed what she cannot leave home without:

Whenever I travel I always travel with my Nintendo Switch and I play video games against the other guys. Sometimes on charter flights I’ll play against the guys and we’ll all connect up and play video games. A lot of time it is playing Mario Kart.

So now, you know another fact about the Goddess. Bliss also loves her character in WWE 2K18:

I mean, who wouldn’t want to be in a video game? It was really cool when I first saw it. I am really happy with what they have done with me and how they have updated my character. If I didn’t like the outcome of a match now I can replay it on Switch and have the outcome I wanted.

The way to a Goddess' heart is with video games. Now you know, guys!

#6 Triple H justified defeating Jinder Mahal in India

Triple H had a valid reason for defeating Mahal
Triple H had a valid reason for defeating Jinder Mahal

Triple H told NBC sports that he beat Jinder Mahal in India, after months of building him as a legitimate top star, simply because he's more popular in India than Jinder Mahal is. Certain stars at his level, like John Cena and The Undertaker, were really popular in the Indian market.

This is what Triple H had to say about Jinder Mahal's appeal and popularity in India:

It’s not to say Jinder wasn’t ‘over’ there. He was! You have to understand the market. It’s not like everyone just went, ‘Oh my God he’s Indian! He looks like us so we love him.’ They are a savvy market. They understand that he’s [playing] a bad guy [on television]. Even though he got a massive reaction, he still needs to earn their respect. He’s still growing and still new. You know what I mean?

#7 Jericho to wrestle more matches for NJPW?

Jericho vs. Omega may not be one and done
Jericho vs. Omega may not be one and done

In an interview with Proresu Today, Jericho revealed the following about his upcoming match against Kenny Omega:

(Our match) might never happen again. That gives it a different level of importance…I've said maybe me and Kenny will never happen again, but I never said I'd only do one match. I never said this would be my last match with New Japan. Wait and see

The thought of Jericho wrestling more than one match for NJPW is definitely intriguing. Imagine the thought of Jericho vs. Okada or Jericho vs. Naito, after their recent war of words.

Of course, Jericho is a WWE guy at heart. One can expect him back in the company, sooner rather than later.

That concludes this edition of SKFabe. Join us in a few hours for live coverage of Clash of Champions. See you soon!
