Seth Rollins Statue to be destroyed on RAW? Sasha on title opportunity
Sting to open WWE Monday Night Raw this week, Sasha wants title opportunity, Team BAD
- After last week’s huge Monday Night Raw, it looks like WWE is already planning on making this week’s very much the same.
There’s a lot more in store as well. It’s also being said that the big bronze statue, the one that was seen in the backstage segment with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon last week for Seth Rollins will finally be revealed as well.
It was set to close out last week’s Raw, but that was interrupted by Sting and set up a big match in a few weeks. However from the looks of it, it seems Sting might play spoilsport in the proceedings this week too. It has been speculated that Sting may end up destroying the statue. WWE wrote this teaser for the two and Monday’s RAW:
Rollins oozed bravado on SmackDown, where he wrote Sting off as an “artifact” and vowed to finish what ‘The Cerebral Assassin’ started at The Show of Shows by crushing his “old bones to dust.” Is The Architect underestimating the WCW icon? Plus, there’s still the matter of Rollins’ missing statue, which was to be unveiled last Monday night before Sting’s ambush.
- WWE has announced the first-ever Divas Beat The Clock Challenge will take place on WWE Raw Monday night in Tampa. The match will feature Paige, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and their opponents have yet to be named.
The rules of the match stipulate that the Diva who wins her match in the shortest amount of time will earn a shot at WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella at the Night of Champions PPV.
However, Sasha Banks took exception to this ruling on Twitter over the weekend. Banks, a former NXT Women's Champion in her own right, has not only made Paige tap out twice since arriving on the main roster but also has a documented submission victory over Nikki Bella herself. Also, the company is teasing a possible interference from Team BAD during tonight's edition of WWE RAW.
