Sting's arrival, John Cena back as Co-Host and more on WWE signing a Pro Athlete

Vidot coming through

- UK media outlets reported that Australian rugby star Daniel Vidot will be receiving a WWE tryout later this month at the Performance Center in Orlando. This doesn’t seem much of a surprise since The Courier Mail reports that WWE has been negotiating with Vidot’s Brisbane Broncos for the past month.

The company aims at promoting Australian talents and has hence shown interest in Vidot since a year now. Affirming to the reports, Vidot commented that WWE had approached him last year which he hadn’t taken seriously as he was playing for the Broncos. “I’ve had an approach from the WWE. They’ve contacted me and have offered to fly me over to Orlando in a few weeks to try out for the WWE. I’m seriously looking at it,” said Vidot.

Vidot further explained that his status as an elite athlete has given him a better chance over others.

He said, “They’ve got thousands of applicants, but I’ve been advanced to the final 30 because I’m considered an elite athlete. The WWE talent scout reckons I’ve got the size and the look they are after so I’m going to give it a go. It’s not a done deal yet … it’s up to Richard Graham (coach) and whether he is interested in signing me. I have a few options up my sleeve so my mind isn’t made up yet.”

- John Cena will be returning to NBC’s Today show as the Co-Host wich will be aired on Wednesday, September 16th in the 9 am EST hour.

- Sting will be seen competing at Monday’s WWE RAW in Memphis, according to PWInsider. He will compete for Seth Rollins’ WWE World Heavyweight Title at Night Of Champions. The final RAW before the Night of Champions surely needed a final segment between Sting and Seth which would set things up perfectly for their match. Even though Sting was booked to be kind of goofy at times, it was entertaining nonetheless seeing him destroy Seth’s prized possession.
