This past week on SmackDown Live, Daniel Bryan was scheduled to make a career-altering announcement. The New Day came out first instead of Bryan and Bryan was unable to make his announcement. Bryan is experiencing a slump in his career right now, as the Planet's Champion recently lost his SmackDown Tag Team titles and claimed that he had been forced to go into a place where he had never been before.

This could all indicate that Bryan is digging down to his bag of tricks. Bryan just loves to capture the audience's attention to get his message across and targeting the Big Dog might be the best way to do that. Reigns is a fan favorite, Bryan is a villain, and both stars compete in the same brand.

A rivalry between these two might just be beneficial for both stars. Bryan and Reigns have faced off in the past, but it was a completely different story back then. A rivalry between Reigns and Bryan sounds fascinating. WWE has the perfect opportunity to renew this rivalry and it should come to a head at SummerSlam.
