Superstar Shake-up: 3 superstars WWE need to book correctly going forward

After last night's SmackDown Live event, the WWE Superstar Shake-up 2019 comes to an end. Although they were very lukewarm shows right after WrestleMania (in my opinion) - both Raw and SmackDown, there's a lot of interesting things to look forward to as we move on.

First of all, let's look at the biggest acquisitions of both Raw and SmackDown Live.

For Raw, we got:

Aj Styles, Andrade, The Miz, Rey Mysterio, and Lacy Evans.

For SmackDown Live we got:

Roman Reigns, Finn Balor, Elias, Lars Sullivan, Bayley, Ember Moon.

All of the above are good acquisitions of both the red as well as the blue brands. What's even better is that all of them except The Miz and Rey Mysterio are superstars of the new era and something WWE needs to really book correctly.

Here are 3 talented superstars I personally think WWE needs to book/push correctly in order to build a better future for the company.

#1 Elias

Elias

Alright, let's face it. No matter how much people boo him, they can't fail to admit that everybody feels Elias' presence. That is saying a lot because there have been superstars in the past who even though had a great physique and had a knack for playing strong WWE characters, they couldn't impact the audience.

The biggest example for this would be Jindar Mahal, who completely transformed his personality, won the WWE Championship and gave his best, but the fans could never connect with him - even though he played a really good heel.

Something like that doesn't happen with Elias. Elias knows how to make his presence felt. He knows how to silence people, to make them listen to him. He also is really good inside the ring and can pull off some really cool maneuvers of his own.

In other words, he has the caliber of a main event superstar. Know what I mean? Since now he's on the blue brand, the land of opportunities, WWE needs to book him properly, and giving him a title reign by the end of the year would be exactly what SmackDown is looking for right now.

Thankfully, if tonight's SmackDown Live is any indication, then WWE is thinking along the same lines.

#2 Lacey Evans

Lacey Evans

Don't know her?

Well, she's the one who on this week's Monday Night Raw told Becky Lynch that 'a lady can teach a man, a thing or two', in the classiest way possible.

Now, initially, I thought Lacey Evans is just another sexualized blonde WWE has acquired. Thankfully that doesn't seem the case. Lacey Evans claims she is a sassy and a classy strong woman who believes in women's empowerment, but by not claiming to be 'The Man', but on her own terms, in her own way, by being a woman (if that makes sense).

Not only did she own Becky Lynch as well as Natalya on this week's Raw, but she also very gracefully pinned the latter for an opportunity to face Becky for her Raw Women's Championship.

In other words, she is seizing the audience as a unique character and as a new addition to Raw, WWE needs to take her seriously and she will do wonders for the company.

#3 Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre is the powerhouse we all needed on the blue brand, but alas it seems he's staying on Raw. That is a little disappointing because now he will have his buddies like Bobby Lashley to back him up all the time when he can easily do fine by himself.

Anyway, as of now, it seems WWE is indeed planning a feud between him and the newly crowned Universal Champion, Seth Rollins. Here's hoping they book this one correctly because Drew has a lot of potential. It's time for him to get some gold around his waist as Vince Mcmahon predicted some years ago during his debut.
