Superstar Shakeup: 4 reasons why Lars Sullivan should move to Raw to challenge Seth Rollins for the Universal Title

The Raw and SmackDown after WrestleMania are usually the places where new talents make way and introduce themselves to the world. Lacey Evans did that when she attacked Becky Lynch on both Raw and SmackDown, paving a way for a feud in the future.

Meanwhile, another rather new face that made a name for himself was Lars Sullivan. He arrived on Raw after WrestleMania and absolutely dismantled Kurt Angle.

He wasn’t done there, though, as on the next night on SmackDown, he absolutely squashed newly-crowned SmackDown Tag Team Champions Matt and Jeff Hardy single-handedly.

That is three WWE veterans in the space of two nights – some way of making a statement.

As a result, it could be assumed that he is set for a massive push – and here are 4 reasons why Lars Sullivan should be drafted to Raw during Superstar Shakeup so that he can challenge Rollins for the Universal Title…

#4 He is a physical phenomenon

I mean, just look at him. It is as though God took a lot of time to carve out the structure of his body. His huge frame is daunting in itself and he is the type of Superstar that is usually loved by Vince McMahon.

Lars Sullivan might not be the tallest, standing at 1.9 meters, but his weight is billed at 330 pounds – and that is huge for someone of his height. In fact, Brock Lesnar, the other giant, weighs at 286 pounds, which is almost 50 pounds less than Sullivan.

With such a physique, it is easy to sell him as the next big thing because he also has the menacing look on his face like Lesnar does.

#3 Raw needs a monster heel

Which brings us to this point. Raw lacks good heels. In fact, the only proper heel that the red brand has is Drew McIntyre. And while he might also have a huge frame, the Scot is more of a sick psychopath than a monster.

When you compare the heels on Raw to the heels at SmackDown, the blue brand comes out far superior. They have the likes of Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, and the vicious Samoa Joe and it is time for Raw to step up in this regard.

Bringing Sullivan in would be the first step towards this as he could be the monster heel that Raw had been missing. Also, it would only be logical for a monster heel to go after the most prestigious title held by a Raw Superstar – and that honor is now in the shoulders of Rollins as the WWE Universal Title.

#2 In-ring talent

Being of giant stature often limits one’s ability inside the ring. In the case of Sullivan, however, it doesn’t seem to make a difference. He is quite athletic for his size and isn’t shy to go on the top rope to smack his opponents with a diving elbow or a headbutt.

On top of that, he has a variety of body slams in his arsenal and is also quite agile within the squared circle. If he feuds with Rollins for the WWE Universal Title, the pair could bring out A+ matches due to their in-ring talent.

#1 Brutal character

The persona with which Sullivan made his entry on the main roster has been brutal. He growls like a wild animal, breathes with vengeance and has a menacing look on his face.

Everything about his character is terrifying and he is the perfect antithesis to the persona of Seth Rollins right now, which is why they are going to complement each other so well.
