WWE Superstars visit firehouses and policemen, Randy grants wish, Cena on TV

WWE Superstars and Divas are visiting several firehouses and police precincts as a part of SummerSlam week

For the first time since 2007, WWE’s SummerSlam returns to the NYC-Metro area with a week-long lineup of events including interactive fan experiences and community outreach programs covering all five NYC boroughs. And as a part of SummerSlam Week in NYC, several WWE Superstars and Divas are spending today riding around the city in a big double decker bus, making stops at several firehouses and police precincts. Reigns commented to WWE.com, "We're taking the time to celebrate the real heroes of our world. Some of the most courageous people in the biggest city in the world". SummerSlam occurs Sunday, Aug. 23, live on WWE Network from a sold-out Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Below are some of the photos:

Randy Orton granted a Make-A-Wish wish before Tuesday's WWE Smackdown tapings in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The WWE Community website has photos of Orton's meeting with 9-year-old Aiden at this link.

Meanwhile, WWE United States Champion John Cena will be on NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" tonight to talk SummerSlam. During said appearance, Cena will grant his 500th Wish to a young boy named Rocco who is battling leukemia. Cena holds the record for most wishes granted through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, but he's not stopping anytime soon.
