Yes, the internet is outraged that The Miz is the WWE Champion and this was the intended reaction that Vince McMahon sought. Outrage is good because it means that you care enough to see your heel Champion get decimated by the babyface challenger. It shakes you out of the status quo and sameness of having a Champion run through all his challengers, with ease.
The Miz can get under the WWE Universe's skin by cutting promos that annoy and irritate them. So much so, that they will buy tickets to see his reign come to an end. Even in the age where we know that everything that we see on our TV screens is scripted, The Miz just invokes a reaction of utter disdain.
Coming back to the point at hand, we have compelling hooks heading into RAW. Why is The Miz aligned with Bobby Lashley, when it was John Morrison who technically cost the latter his WWE United States Championship?
