#3. WWE legends Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels couldn't hold back their tears at WrestleMania 24

At WWE WrestleMania 24, fans witnessed arguably one of the best wrestling matches of all time. Ric Flair took on Shawn Michaels in what was expected to be The Nature Boy's final match.

The two men delivered a memorable performance. In the closing moments of the match, Michaels told Flair he loved him before delivering a thunderous Sweet Chin Music and pinning the legend to end his wrestling career.

Both men cried their eyes out after the closing bell, and Flair was left devastated with the result. CBS spoke to The Heartbreak Kid about the match.

"I told him that I loved him and I can't say it without getting weepy half the time," Michaels said. "You have to understand, the guy who was in the ring with him, I was in there in body. But inside it was the 15-year-old kid who watched him every Saturday. It was, 'Thank you for giving me this honor, and I love you for it.'"

The match not only made two WWE legends tear up; it also moved the entire arena. It remains one of the most emotional matches in wrestling history.
