#4 The Miz
If you were able to take a trip back in time to 2001 and tune your television to MTV's "The Real World," you would have seen a young, overly-energetic wrestling fanatic named Mike Mizanin. Mike was hell-bent, on one day making his dreams come true and becoming a WWE Superstar. However, if you were watching the show back then, you would have simply laughed and thought this guy was just a crazy fan. But, that was not the case as we would soon find out.
The Miz is a prime example of someone who would not take no for an answer. While the entire world may have thought he was crazy, he knew where he wanted to be and he was not going to stop until he got there. Fast-forward a few years and we now know The Miz did, in fact, get his big break. The Miz began working his way through WWE's developmental system in 2004 and just a couple of years later, he was on the main roster.
Throughout his career, The Miz has been quite the overachiever. He's done it all from becoming a Grand Slam Champion to main eventing Wrestlemania and even starring in major motion pictures. The Miz has always leaned on his charisma to get him to the top of the roster. He has never had a problem taking a situation and completely owning it. His in-ring antics, combined with his raw talent and flawless mic skills have enabled him to open doors that most Superstars only dream of. That is why The Miz simply must be a part of this list as one of WWE's best storytellers.
