Another week, another set of incredible WWE rumors. However, we seem to be moving away from WrestleMania match card rumors and whatever the WWE has planned for Ronda Rousey and moving towards just what the company is doing with many of its talents.

There are rumored updates for Dean Ambrose, Triple-H, Dolph Ziggler and Lio Rush in this week's rumor-mill, but let's just remember last week's Top 5 WWE Rumors of the Week - February 5, 2018, Rousey headlined the list containing injury speculation, backstage heat suggestions and plans for the former MMA fighter.

Dolph Ziggler's WWE status officially remains a mystery following the Superstar walking out of SmackDown after winning the US Title. Sure, he appeared in the Royal Rumble and is returning to SmackDown Live this week but it's still uncertain as to whether or not Ziggler is back with WWE for good.

However, a new report has been released suggesting that Ziggler has signed an exclusive new two-year deal with the WWE that is worth big money and allows him to take on projects outside of the WWE that do not clash with his schedule.

#4 Jeff Hardy to have a character change on his return

Will Jeff be joining 'Woken' Matt Hardy soon?

Jeff and Matt Hardy's return to the WWE was one of the biggest moments in recent history, but sadly Jeff was sidelined with an injury derailing the momentum of the returning Hardy Boys. However, there seems to be big plans for Jeff's return.

Bryan Alvarez has speculated that Hardy will be returning around March, or April and that when he does he'll be aligning with 'Woken' Matt Hardy and that he'll be doing as Brother Nero, reuniting the popular tag-team from TNA.

#3 Triple-H's return to the ring

When will Triple-H be back?

HHH hasn't appeared since his appearance at Survivor Series when he double-crossed Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon and came to blows with Braun Strowman, but with WrestleMania around the corner is the 'King of Kings' going to return to the ring?

Apparently, he is! It is expected that 'The Game' will return on the Monday Night RAW after Elimination Chamber as the WWE looks to build towards several major storylines heading into 'Mania. Triple-H is, of course, expected to be part of them.

#2 Dean Ambrose's injury recovery

Dean Ambrose is currently out of action due to an arm injury and subsequent surgery with many wondering if one-third of the Shield would be back in time to make a WrestleMania appearance.

Ambrose's injury should have sidelined him until after WrestleMania with many feeling that his appearance on the Axxess signing on the morning of 'Mania meaning he'll definitely miss the event.

However, 'The Lunatic Fringe' has been spotted visiting the site in Birmingham Alabama where he underwent surgery, meaning that Ambrose could be on track for an early return. We'll have to wait and see.

#1 Brand split ending?

Could there now be several times a year Superstars from Raw and SmackDown do battle?
Could there now be several times a year Superstars from Raw and SmackDown do battle?

News broke recently that Backlash was being changed from a RAW pay-per-view to a dual-brand pay-per-view. It then subsequently emerged that from Backlash onwards, all pay-per-views would feature Superstars from RAW and SmackDown Live.

This has sparked suggestions that the brand-split might be ending. Whilst that doesn't seem to be the case yet, it does seem that pay-per-views are no longer split by brands and that Backlash will be the home of this year's WWE draft.
