As always there are plenty of WWE based wrestling rumours circulating on the online rumour mill. Most of which involving who would be surprise entrants at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view that's just happened, so we now know if any of those rumours were true or not.

#5. Dolph Ziggler's Royal Rumble plans changed

PWInsider has reported that the initial plans for Dolph Ziggler's big return at the Royal Rumble called for him to answer the open challenge of Bobby Roode for the United States Title on the Rumble pre-show.

However, those plans allegedly changed and Ziggler was bumped up to the Royal Rumble match in the number thirty spot, which was why he seemed to return during the Rumble match for nothing, getting eliminated fairly quickly, because he wasn't supposed to be in the match at all.

#4. Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman were legitimately fighting at the Royal Rumble

A lot was made of some of the blows that Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar gave each other at the Royal Rumble, with many believing that the two huge wrestlers were legitimately hitting each other.

The trouble started earlier in the match when Strowman delivered a stiff knee to Brock Lesnar. It has then been reported that Lesnar was visibly aggrieved and that the audio for the match had to be cut as Lesnar was cursing throughout the match after that.

This week the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas posted a social media image hyping the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View that has sparked rumours that the arena accidentally leaked the news that there would be a Women's Elimination Chamber match.

As you can see from the above tweet, which was tweeted out by T-Mobile Arena's officialy Twitter page, they asks fans which '12' Superstars they want to see make it inside, suggesting that there will be two different Chamber matches.

#2. Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose to miss WrestleMania

There's a possibility that we already know that the injured Dean Ambrose, and the not-cleared to compete Daniel Bryan may not appear at the 'Grandest Stage of Them All.' At least if the AXXESS signing schedule for 2018's 'Mania is anything to go by.

Previously, for the last two years, the Superstars who were on the Sunday Morning signing sessions did not go on to appear on that evening's WrestleMania show at all, with Bryan and Ambrose being those Superstars this year.

There are conflicting and contradictory reports of what the WWE has planned for Rousey now that she's finally here on a full-time contract after interrupting Asuka, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte in the dying moments of the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View.

PWInsider has reported that Ronda Rousey will be facing Charlotte at WrestleMania for the SmackDown Live Women's Title, whilst Dave Meltzer at the Wrestling Observer Newsletter believes that the current plans for Rousey to team up with someone to take on Stephanie McMahon and Triple-H.
