Top 6 Best Entrances in the WWE today!

Which are the best entrances in the WWE?

Wrestling, nowadays, has evolved to much more than just the in-ring chemistry between wrestlers. It takes a good story-line, fan service & presentation to do justice to what they will be displaying out in the ring.

And when it comes to presentation, the entrances have made a huge impact in the recent years in helping build a wrestler’s persona in front of the WWE universe. Imagine if The Rock came out without his whole gimmick, John Cena without his Hustle Loyalty Respect (or Thuganomics) or the Undertaker just walked out like any newbie wrestler out there. Wouldn’t be fun, would it?

Here is a list of all the wrestlers on the current roster, whose entrance is nothing short of spectacular. Creativity, flamboyance & relevance, these three aspects are being considered with each of our entries.

Please note that we are not considering any one-off entrances, especially Wrestlemania ones where wrestlers often end up coming up with extravagant additions to their normal routine.

So, who goes in the list? (Sadly Jericho’s latest entrance doesn’t)

#6 Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin’s entrance is badass, just like him

Let us start our list with a surprise entry. Not many would have guessed Baron’s inclusion in this list. But let’s be honest to ourselves. Baron Corbin is one of the best no-nonsense wrestlers we have in the industry right now and his entrance matches his persona like a sock in a shoe.

Starting off with the lights out, as soon as the theme song – Superhuman by CFO$ starts playing, we know we are going to witness some ruthless wrestling out there. Baron delivers just that. Dark & sadistic, we couldn’t have picked a better entrance theme for Baron.

And when he walks down the three spotlights & things turn red, we couldn’t have picked anyone else to play his character either!

#5 Becky Lynch

Becky truly packs a punch with her entrance!

The current face of Smackdown Live’s women division, Becky’s entrance is just like her! Motivated, energetic, passionate & a perfect babyface! When the smoke runs out & she runs out the ramp in her eccentric glasses, she displays a whole host of emotions that define her as a wrestler.

Even the theme song is well chosen, displaying a whole lot of energy & positivity, getting every single fan on their feet! Though that could be problematic in the future, in case the creative thinks that she should take a heel turn someday. We can’t picture her as a heel at all!

#4 Sheamus

The Irish giant commands respect with his entrance

Sheamus’ previous theme song was all about sinning and the inference could be that this man was out there to punish all the sinners. Then came the big makeover. While people might have called him stupid, the truth is far off from that. The theme song yells out excellence & sounds like a battle cry with the bagpipes.

Out comes the Great White with his Mohawk & lights turn him whiter than ever! Then he walks down the ramp like he is going to make someone’s day extremely bad, which he usually does. If his character was to be played right, this would have been one of the most badass entrances of all time!

Thank god he lost the beard braid, though! That actually looked stupid.

#3 Enzo & Cass

Enzo and Cass involve everyone into their entrance

This one is all about fan service! The fans never have felt more included in an entrance theme than this one. R-Truth’s ‘What’s up?’ came close, but each & everyone love this one! The pop these two got on their surprise debut was one of the loudest ever and the fans loved giving voice to their entrance speech to every last word.

Where it works wonders is that Enzo somehow manages to give his usual phrases a nice twist that fits the occasion & while Cass isn’t in the same league as him while talking trash, the fans still love his contribution as well!

#2 Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt has one of the most unique entrances of all time

This & the next one in the list have to be the best entrances in the industry right now. Bray’s entrance works magnificently in positioning him as a creepy ‘destroyer’! Each of us love it when he carries the lamp in his hands through pitch-darkness, with just fireflies appearing in the background through the many fan cellphone lights.

It is scary to its core & thankfully it is the right kind of creepy, not Boogeyman creepy. This entrance has definitely played an important part in sealing his role as one of the most loved wrestlers among the WWE Universe.

#1 Finn Balor

Absolute brilliance

Not to over-sell this lad, but Finn Balor’s entrance is nothing short of pure awesomeness. We are not even considering his occasional demon entrance here. His choice of music for this is perfect & he sells it even better with his charisma.

Even the relatively newer fans who witness this theme will know that Finn means business and that, what waits for them is going to be brilliant!

Honourable Mentions:

Sami Zayn: Like Becky, Sami has a definite babyface entrance where he hops across the ramp like he is going to make it a day to remember for all the wrestling fans. And quite frankly, he usually does!

The Miz: The Miz has been one of the best heels this industry has seen & he has been consistent throughout. His entrance plays well to his egoistic character, with Mike ensuring that the standards are met throughout!

AJ Styles: AJ Styles doesn’t need to do much to own the arena, because whatever he does, he does it pure brilliance. His entrance in TNA was comparatively better, but the current one still manages to get everyone off their seats chanting for the ‘Phenomenal One’!
