Austin Theory and Grayson Waller's reign as WWE Tag Team Champions seems to be ending, and Triple H needs to find worthy new champions. A-Town Down Under has endured some issues recently that suggest a separation of the two stars. WWE SmackDown has several entertaining tag teams that could dethrone Theory and Waller. DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) are perhaps best positioned to win the titles at the moment.

However, Pretty Deadly returned on tonight's episode of the blue brand, and their usual sparkling wit was on display. They appeared in a backstage segment, receiving a nice pop from the Madison Square Garden crowd. The Brits' trademark tomfoolery led to a tag team match against The Street Profits being booked for next week's show.

This gives Elton Price and Kit Wilson a golden opportunity to get a big win over former WWE Tag Team Champions. They can boast a high-profile victory to General Manager Nick Aldis and demand a tag title opportunity.

Despite their heel characteristics, Pretty Deadly is one of the most popular tag teams in the company. They are excellent on the mic and impressive in the ring; the sky is the limit for the duo.

Triple H should book Austin Theory and Grayson Waller's next title defense at WWE SummerSlam

Austin Theory and Grayson Waller are increasingly likely to defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against DIY. No date has been set for that tag title match, but SummerSlam is a good destination.

The Biggest Party of the Summer could do with an exciting tag team match that echoes the WrestleMania XL ladder match. That was how A-Town Down Under won the titles, and it would be fitting for them to lose them in a similar manner.

A potential multi-tag team match allows several WWE SmackDown tag teams to get on the SummerSlam card. Triple H should book Theory and Waller to defend the titles against DIY, Street Profits, and Pretty Deadly.

The Brits can get a heelish win in this sort of match, perhaps making the most of a mix-up between Street Profits and DIY. A roll-up win is perfect for their characters and would likely send fans into hysteria at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

Triple H reportedly had major plans when calling Pretty Deadly up to the main roster

Pretty Deadly arrived on the main roster in May 2023 as the newest members of the WWE SmackDown roster. The British duo was promoted for many weeks through hilarious vignettes and backstage segments.

PWInsider reported that Triple H had big plans for the former NXT and NXT UK Tag Team Champions a month prior. Those plans were perhaps put on the back burner when Elton Prince suffered a separated shoulder in July.

The duo returned in October and continued to gain fans' support with their comic act. They have yet to get a high-profile opportunity, such as a tag team title reign, which should be on the cards soon, evidenced by the fans' support tonight.

Austin Theory needs a face turn amid stagnating run post-Mr Money in the Bank

Austin Theory became the first star in WWE history to cash in a Money in the Bank briefcase for a midcard title in November 2022. The young upstart failed to cash in successfully on then-United States Champion Seth Rollins but lost.

Theory's defeat and decision to cash in for a non-world title was costly for his character and push. He gradually lost steam and eventually moved down the card despite eventually winning the title and successfully defending it against John Cena at WrestleMania 39.

The 26-year-old has huge potential but has struggled to fulfill it thus far. Many feel he needs to lose the tag titles and turn babyface to build rapport with fans and be handed a new direction.
