Amid WWE's new era, Triple H has to be on the lookout for new talents that could move to the company. One of these names could be the son of ECW legend and current AEW commentator, Taz.

Taz's son, Hook, is on an expiring contract with AEW and it is unclear whether he will continue with the company or will examine his options. Hook is coming off a loss to WWE legend and current AEW megastar Chris Jericho for the FTW Championship.

Jericho was the young wrestler's mentor, but the two eventually became rivals and had a title match at AEW Dynasty on Sunday.

As his contract expires later in the year and he could hit free agency, Hook is expected to attract interest from WWE and we should expect Triple H to pursue him.

Hook will boost WWE's young talent

Hook has been impressive in AEW and his persona and wrestling skills have helped him emerge as one of the top stars in the company. Thus, his addition would be a boost for WWE's young talent, as the NXT roster consists of several super-talented wrestlers.

"Hook, he's a good kid. The more I'm around him, it's like man, what's not to like? He's like a really likable kid, and then obviously he's a sweeter kid in the back, and then when he's out there," ECW and WWE legend Rob Van Dam recently said during an exclusive with Sportskeeda Wrestling.

As we said, Hook would be a great addition to the WWE roster should Triple H sign him, while he would have the chance to better prepare and elevate his wrestling skills on NXT.

The company's developmental brand has a plethora of talent and the young wrestler would be able to improve without pressure and get ready for a move to the main roster, either on RAW or SmackDown.

During his time with AEW, Hook has shown he has great potential and the ability to become a superstar. Also, the fact that he is Taz's son could help him get some mentoring from WWE and ECW legends, which could benefit him long-term.

The 24-year-old star wrestler has received high praise for his accuracy and his wrestling technique during his stint with AEW, which started back in 2020. We should expect AEW to do its best to keep him, but it would be a surprise if they didn't have competition from Triple H and WWE.
