After Monday’s RAW went off the air, Payback main eventers John Cena and Ryback squared off once again, just like they have done for the past 5-6 weeks, in a Tables match for the WWE title. The result, however, was similar to their Tables match at Payback, as John Cena retained the WWE title again, much to the crowd’s delight.
Both superstars were victorious in their respective ‘Money in the Bank’ matches against Mark Henry and Chris Jericho respectively. Their dark match on RAW lasted for just around ten mins.
Cena was earlier on RAW and asked to choose an opponent for his coveted WWE title at SummerSlam, and the champion ended up choosing fan favourite Daniel Bryan.
