Which brand should each of the 6 NXT call ups go to?

These 6 superstars are on their way to WWE.
These 6 superstars are on their way to WWE.

It was announced in December that Heavy Machinery (Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight), Lars Sullivan, Lacey Evans, EC3, and Nikki Cross will be heading to either Monday Night Raw or SmackDown Live.

Most of these superstars have been appearing on Raw and SmackDown Live and basically having a trial run on the main roster before they go to a specific brand.

Heavy Machinery has competed in multiple number one contender matches on both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live, EC3 defeated Dean Ambrose in his Monday Night Raw debut, Lacey Evans confronted Alexa Bliss and lasted for 30 minutes in the women's Royal Rumble, and Nikki Cross has been involved in multiple tag team matches involving Bayley, Sasha Banks, Natalya, the Riott Squad, and Alicia Fox.

Lars Sullivan has yet to make his debut due to an anxiety attack that he recently suffered.

#5 Heavy Machinery to Monday Night Raw

Heavy Machinery has looked good in recent weeks.
Heavy Machinery has looked good in recent weeks.

Heavy Machinery has done pretty much everything they needed to do in NXT. They definitely improved throughout the year and a half that they spent in NXT and had great matches with the likes of the Mighty, Austin Aries & Roderick Strong, the Street Profits, Undisputed Era, and even the Forgotten Sons.

Otis Dozovic also had a great match with NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa on an episode of NXT TV that really proved just how great both men are.

Since arriving in the main roster, Heavy Machinery has been heavily protected as they managed to eliminate the New Day in a match to determine the number one contenders to the SmackDown Tag Team Titles before being eliminated by the Bar, were a huge part of the recent fatal 4 way tag team match on Raw, had a great segment involving Becky Lynch and the New Day, and crushed the Ascension in their debut.

They should go to Monday Night Raw instead of SmackDown Live because SmackDown Live already has a stacked tag team division.

WWE does not even have time to give teams like SAnitY, the Colons, and Gallows & Anderson a chance and with the New Day, the Bar, the Usos, and Shane McMahon & The Miz on the brand, the last thing SmackDown Live needs is another team.

Meanwhile, with the AOP and Breezango out of action, the only teams that Raw has are Bobby Roode & Chad Gable, The Revival, the B-Team, The Ascension, and Lucha House Party. Therefore, Heavy Machinery should definitely be added to Raw.

#4 Lacey Evans to Monday Night Raw

Lacey Evans lasted for 30 minutes in the Women's Royal Rumble match.
Lacey Evans lasted for 30 minutes in the Women's Royal Rumble match.

Lacey Evans was a breakout performer in NXT in 2018 as she had several impressive matches with the likes of Bianca Belair, Toni Storm, Kairi Sane, Dakota Kai, and Candice LeRae.

Lacey Evans has an impressive record on NXT as she has defeated the likes of Kairi Sane, Dakota Kai, Aliyah, and Kairi Sane. The Lady of NXT is now the Lady of WWE and she has appeared on both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live.

Because SmackDown Live is more of a wrestling based show, it would be better for Lacey Evans to go to a more character-based show in Monday Night Raw.

While Lacey Evans has developed into a perfectly capable performer, she still has not hit her peak so she should go to Raw where her character can truly shine.

Lacey Evans can then have fun rivalries with the likes of Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Ember Moon, and Natalya. She can truly be a star on Monday Night Raw.

#3 Lars Sullivan to SmackDown Live

Lars Sullivan has yet to make his debut.
Lars Sullivan has yet to make his debut.

Lars Sullivan was a dominant superstar in NXT as only one superstar was able to pin him throughout his entire NXT career and that superstar was Aleister Black. He defeated the likes of Killian Dain, Kassius Ohno, Ricochet, the Velveteen Dream, No Way Jose, and Roderick Strong and has really improved in the ring.

The Leviathan has had great matches with the likes of Aleister Black, Killian Dain, the Velveteen Dream, Roderick Strong, and Johnny Gargano while also being an important part of the NXT North American Championship ladder match.

He was set to debut on Raw last month but reportedly suffered an anxiety attack and was unable to make an appearance. While he would probably do great on Monday Night Raw, he would be better on SmackDown Live.

Monday Night Raw is the land of the giants with several superstars including Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre, Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley, and even Nia Jax calling Monday Night Raw their home. If Lars Sullivan goes to SmackDown Live, he will be a more unique superstar and can have great matches with the likes of AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Jeff Hardy, and Mustafa Ali.

#2 EC3 to Monday Night Raw

EC3 defeated Dean Ambrose in his Monday Night Raw debut.
EC3 defeated Dean Ambrose in his Monday Night Raw debut.

EC3 was in NXT for less than a year but still managed to make an impact. His first match was a 5-star ladder match for the NXT North American Championship that also involved Ricochet, Killian Dain, The Velveteen Dream, Adam Cole, and Lars Sullivan.

He spent time in NXT as both a face and a heel and had memorable matches with the likes of Johnny Gargano, Adam Cole, Lars Sullivan, Kassius Ohno, and the Velveteen Dream. EC3 is currently a face and not has been booked as well as he can be.

He has only appeared in segments where he says nothing before last week where his talk show segment with Alexa Bliss was interrupted by Nia Jax, Tamina, and Dean Ambrose. EC3 would manage to defeat Dean Ambrose later but he was only able to win by roll up.

While he has struggled, the Top One Percenter definitely belongs on Raw. While he is a pretty good wrestler, his strong suit is the mic and Monday Night Raw is more of a character based show.

On SmackDown Live, he would not be able to succeed in the same way. On Raw, he should arguably work as a heel and have rivalries against the likes of Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Dolph Ziggler, Apollo Crews, and even Kurt Angle.

#1 Nikki Cross to SmackDown Live

Nikki Cross challenged Becky Lynch in November.
Nikki Cross challenged Becky Lynch in November.

Nikki Cross was one of the standout performers of NXT's women's division. She arrived with the rest of SAnitY in 2016 and quickly became a huge threat to the women's division.

She had some great matches involving Bianca Belair, Shayna Baszler, Candice LeRae, Kairi Sane, Ruby Riott, the IIconics, and Asuka. This call up has been long overdue.

She did have a one-off appearance where she challenged Becky Lynch and since then, she has appeared on Raw and SmackDown Live. She has done more on Raw as she has participated in multiple tag team matches and has not been pinned.

Nikki Cross was also a standout performer in the women's Royal Rumble match where she took the fight to everyone and hit everybody with a huge crossbody. While she would do great on Raw, she should go to SmackDown Live where she can reunite with SAnitY (and give them the spark that they need) while also having great matches with the likes of Naomi, Asuka, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair.
