#3. Kevin Owens replaces Rey Mysterio to face Samoa Joe

Kevin Owens, who returned to the WWE after double knee surgery, has not had a strong storyline or feud yet, having only featured briefly against Daniel Bryan.

Owens does not have a match for WrestleMania 35, and that could maybe change if Rey Mysterio is not fit enough for the Show of Shows.

Mysterio, who wrestled Baron Corbin on RAW this past week, rolled his ankle and was not on WrestleMania go-home show of SmackDown Live.

WWE had this to say about Mysterio's injury:

Because of the injury, Mysterio was forced out of his previously scheduled match with Andrade on SmackDown LIVE. Mysterio will continue to be evaluated as WrestleMania draws closer.

Mysterio was to face Samoa Joe for the United States title at WrestleMania 35, but if he's not cleared by the WWE medical team, Owens would be a great replacement. Owens and Joe have fought previously on NXT, while Joe also debuted at NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable to stop Owens from giving Sami Zayn a beatdown.
