Back at WrestleMania 30, Daniel Bryan achieved the impossible by winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. He was the leader of the 'Yes' movement and was one of the most-over WWE Superstars at the time. Like Kofi Kingston, he was not supposed to be in that main event spot.
The universe has a funny way of aligning events but faith has brought Daniel Bryan full circle. His heel turn over the last few months has been brilliant by getting the WWE Universe to boo him at every turn. Like Captain Ahab in Moby Dick, he has allowed his obsession over keeping the WWE Championship to be his white whale.
Losing the WWE title to Kofi Kingston would be the ultimate passing of the torch from one-time underdog to another. The spear of destiny awaits Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania 35 and for him to take his place amongst the WWE Legends who have graced the grandest stage of them all.
