WrestleMania 35: 5 reasons why Vince McMahon won't let Triple H retire

If Triple H loses against Batista at WrestleMania 35, he will retire

In February, Hollywood Superstar Batista returned to the WWE for a match against Triple H. On Ric Flair's birthday celebration, he attacked the Nature Boy so that he could get his mentor's attention.

The Animal then demanded a match against HHH which he eventually got. Now both Superstars will slug it out at WrestleMania 35. Last week, Batista sent a letter to Triple H where he demanded him to put his career on the line. The latter did what he was asked to do and now, if The Game loses against The Animal, he will retire.

This stipulation has gathered millions of eyeballs who will be watching this match live on their television. But, is Triple H really going to lose it against Batista? That's the question in fans’ mind, right now. In this article, I will present 5 reasons why Vince McMahon won't let The Game retire at the grandest stage of them all.

#5 Triple H has got a lot left in his tank

Triple H can still wrestle for some more time
Triple H can still wrestle for some more time

Wrestlers retire when they feel they can't do their job properly anymore. It is the same reason why Kurt Angle is retiring at this year's WrestleMania. However, it isn't the case with Triple H.

The Game has been in this business for a very long time and it is surprising that he is still wrestling for the company. Even though Triple H injured himself at Crown Jewel last year, he has decided to return against his former Evolution teammate, Batista.

A lot of fans know that Triple H can still provide a high profile match without struggling in the ring. It is one of the main reasons why he still hasn't retired yet. Now some of you might say that he didn't provide a great match last year but he wasn't the one at fault.

His WrestleMania 34 match was one of the highlights of the show. I agree that he didn't work well with The Undertaker in Australia but we can't blame himself alone. I believe Triple H can still wrestle for some more years if he has the right opponent. And if he can then there's no reason why Vince will let him retire.

#4 Because Batista is going to retire against Triple H at the grand stage

Is it going to be The Animal's final match?
Is it going to be The Animal's final match?

Batista has already said it a couple of times that he would return only if Triple H is on the other side. It seems like the company was ignoring him from the past few years but now he has got what he wanted: a match against his mentor, Triple H.

Apart from WWE, Batista has made a huge name in the acting industry and is better known as "Drax the Destroyer”. He has worked in many Marvel Films with which has also kept himself a lot more busy than other Superstars. In some time, The Animal will be getting busier day by day which will make it hard for him to return again.

So it's safe to say that Batista's last match will be against Triple H, which is going to happen in just a few days. Even though the retirement stipulation is only set for The Game, as of writing, the next episode of Raw could shake things up.

#3 WWE's partnership with the Saudi Arabia General Sports Authority

Last year, WWE signed a 10-year long deal with the General Sports Authority of Saudi Arabia. And we have already seen two huge pay-per-views in this country in form of Greatest Royal Rumble and Crown Jewel -- both of which were controversial in their own ways.

In both shows, we saw the return of some huge names from the past. The Game, too, was one of them. It has to be noted that Triple H plays an important role in WWE and considering Saudi Arabia's deal is in millions of dollars, it is unlikely that the COO of the company will not wrestle in this country this year.

According to a rumour, WWE's next show in Saudi Arabia will happen this May. So it's pretty unlikely that The Boss will let Triple H not work in that show.

#2 The Game has to build more “Seth Rollins”

It was The Game who realized the potential in Seth Rollins first. I wouldn't be wrong to say that he played an important role in building what Rollins is today.

The Architect left The Shield for Triple H and turned heel. And under Hunter's wings, he won a couple for titles and managed to become a fan favourite Superstar. Rollins was the man who pitched the Money In The Bank cash in at WrestleMania 31 to Triple H.

The Game showed trust in him and accepted his idea. Now, we all know what happened then. Triple H has already built a Superstar who has the potential to become the face of the company. However, Rollins alone can't do anything. He needs more Superstars like him who can become the future of this promotion.

Vince McMahon, the Chairman of the WWE, is now old and can't focus on building more Superstars. He has already done his part and now, it's Triple H's time to do his things and create another blockbuster Superstar. And he can easily do it by feuding and passing the torch to younger talent. Recently, many NXT talents debuted to the main roster so Triple H can feud with any of them.

#1 The retirement stipulation was only meant to build this rivalry up

The most logical answer, in this list, is that Triple H put his career on the line only to build his rivalry with Batista. Since attacking Ric Flair, The Animal didn't do a lot to promote this rivalry. However, since adding the retirement stipulation, The Game did a great job.

Now everyone is talking about this rivalry which is what was needed in this rivalry. I feel that this stipulation was only added for the build-up and Vince has no intentions letting Triple H retire this soon. He has already fought in matches where his career was on the line but didn't lose them. And this could be the case in this year's WrestleMania as well.
