5 controversial decisions WWE must not make at WrestleMania 36

#3 John Cena defeats The Fiend

As mentioned previously, one of the most controversial decisions WWE made recently was to have Goldberg defeat The Fiend to become the Universal Champion. There's no arguing that The Fiend has been one of the best things about the WWE over the last year or so and removing the title from him was a decision that was rejected by the WWE Universe.

WWE made that decision to bring Roman Reigns back in the title picture as Reigns would've been booed if he had won it off The Fiend. The Fiend, instead, will face John Cena at The Show of Shows, which could be Cena's last match, as per WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley.

WWE should ensure that they do not hurt The Fiend's momentum even more at WrestleMania 36, as a defeat would further diminish the massive popularity he has enjoyed. A win over Cena could get The Fiend back on track to challenge for the Universal title once again, and set up a feud with Reigns, a match which could maybe happen later this year.
