This controversial decision led to many arguing about its effect on The Fiend’s character. Despite losing the belt, he has managed to keep his status intact and is now set to face John Cena at WrestleMania 36.

Given the fact that the two Superstars share a history that goes back to the 30th edition of WrestleMania, this is a good storyline overall.
