In McIntyre's second run with the company, he established himself as one of the most dominant forces in the entire WWE roster He finally found himself in the title picture after winning the Royal Rumble this year.
That was also when his feud began with Brock Lesnar who was eliminated by the ‘Scottish Psychopath’ from the Rumble.

At WrestleMania, the two powerhouses locked horns in a good match that saw them getting the better of each other several times. But Lesnar’s F5s weren’t as effective as McIntyre’s claymore kicks that allowed him to slay the ‘Beast Incarnate’.
Even Lesnar did incredibly in well in putting McIntyre over during their match which will be instrumental in establishing the latter’s Championship reign.
