We were shown footage from last week's 205 Live where Brian Kendrick finally snapped, battering Jack Gallagher with a kendo stick. Akira Tozawa broke up the assault, only for Kendrick to break it over the back of his former friend. It seems that all those lessons Kendrick attempted to teach Tozawa back in the early days of 205 Live fell on deaf ears. Lesson #1...never turn your back on Brian Kendrick.

Kendrick was interviewed backstage and was asked why he did what he did. He claimed that he's the reason that 205 Live exists, giving all the Cruiserweights their opportunity when he signed up for the Cruiserweight Classic three years ago. The locker room lacks respect, and it's up to Kendrick to teach them what that means.

1-2 (Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch) vs Tony Nese & Drew Gulak

The Guvnor Danny Burch started off the match with Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak. Burch brought Gulak down to the mat with a side headlock and blocked an escape by the Philadelphia Stretcher. Gulak did manage to break away only for Burch to bring him back down to the mat with another side headlock.

Gulak made it to his feet and shoved Burch off into the ropes. Burch stood him up with a shoulder tackle and trapped him in another headlock. Lorcan tagged in, with both men leveling Gulak with a pair of chops. Burch came back in and a double Russian leg sweep saw Gulak's head whiplash off the mat. Another tag saw the champion brought up and down with a double suplex.

1-2 continued the onslaught, battering Gulak in their corner. Burch launched Gulak onto his knees with an arm wrench and stomped on his right hand. However, Nese distracted him, allowing Gulak to stun him with a shot to the gut. With the Premier Athlete now the legal man, Burch found himself on the receiving end of some stiff forearms. Nese wasn't able to keep Burch down for long, as he avoided an attack in the corner to tag in Lorcan.

Lorcan set Nese and Gulak up in the corner for a pair of running elbow strikes. Gulak dropped to the mat while Nese tried to chase him across the ring. A back elbow rocked him, but thanks to Gulak's interference, Nese tore at Lorcan's eyes. Lorcan was hung up over the ropes with a bulldog to the apron, followed by a springboard moonsault. He tagged out but was immediately pulled towards the corner of Nese & Gulak.

The dastardly duo tagged in and out, pelting Lorcan with dozens of rough punches and kicks. Lorcan managed to bring Nese over with a sunset flip, but Nese rolled through, nearly shutting his lights off with a spinning back kick to the jaw.

Gulak came in and both he and Nese dropped Lorcan with a double back suplex. The champion tied Lorcan up in the middle of the ring with a chin lock while also biting his rival's forehead. Lorcan made it to his feet but was stunned by a headbutt. Lorcan was sent into his opponent's corner. Luckily, he knocked Nese to the ground and dropped the top rope, sending Gulak crashing to the ground.

As Lorcan struggled to get to his corner, Gulak jumped back inside. Lorcan sent him over with a back body drop and finally tagged in Burch, who battered the champ with a few strong punches, an enzuiguri, and a middle rope dropkick. Nese rushed in before they could hit the elevated DDT. With Lorcan now the legal man and Nese & Burch left outside, Lorcan folded Gulak like an accordion with a running Blockbuster. Gulak broke out but was immediately locked in a single leg Boston crab.

As Nese rushed in to break it up, Burch trapped him in a crossface. Gulak finally managed to roll onto his back, sending Lorcan onto Burch and breaking up the second submission hold. Burch was tagged in and picked up Gulak in an electric chair position. However, Lorcan was sent outside as Gulak raked Burch's eyes. Nese hit Lorcan with a Fosbury splash and tagged in for a 450 Splash on Burch. Lorcan yanked him out to the floor and brawled with Gulak.

Nese rolled back in for the pumphandle slam, but Burch escaped for a headbutt. Lorcan tagged in for 1-2's Electric Chair uppercut. Miraculously, Nese kicked out of the pinfall. Gulak and Burch rolled to the outside, distracting Lorcan and allowing Nese to roll up Lorcan with pulled tights. Lorcan kicked out and delivered a hellacious lariat, setting up for 1-2's Elevated DDT.

Results: 1-2 defeated Tony Nese & Drew Gulak via pinfall.
