Every year, 2K manages to up their game and this year was no different. 2016 has arguably been one of the greatest years in WWE history in terms of the talent. Many believe that never in its history has WWE had such a stacked roster. The WWE Universe has seen tremendous the debuts of AJ Styles and The Club from outside of the WWE, and several NXT call-ups. In fact, with the brand split in July, NXT got raided for talent.
2K17 was first advertised by announcing a returning Goldberg. The WCW standout is available to pre-order. This is the first time 2K are including Goldberg in their game. Usually, almost every year, 2K announces the return or addition of a legend, and coincidentally enough, this has happened with Ultimate Warrior and Sting. This has led to speculation on a possible Goldberg return, which seems to be looming more and more.

2K17 will see the debut of several wrestlers, such as AJ Styles, The Four Horsewomen, and several NXT talent who had not been featured in the previous years. It is only a matter of time before we see Paul Ellering, Demolition, Legion of Doom/The Road Warriors, and several other legends as well. The women’s legends list is overdue for an expansion soon!
