Baron Corbin has always been one of Vince McMahon's favorite characters and his booking his a perfect reflection of the confidence Mr. McMahon has in him. Corbin is one of the few stars who remained in the main-event scene throughout the year. He has become one of WWE's top heels, having faced and beaten some of the best WWE currently has to offer.

The former United States Champion defeated Braun Strowman at Elimination Chamber in a No Disqualification match with outside interference. He retired Kurt Angle at WrestleMania, much to the displeasure of the WWE Universe. Corbin entered the Universal Championship scene and he proved to be a tough challenge for Seth Rollins, even in defeat. Soon after SummerSlam, Corbin overcame the likes of The Miz, Cedric Alexander, Ricochet, Samoa Joe and Shorty G to become the King of the Ring.

Recently, Corbin entered into a feud with Roman Reigns and formed an alliance with Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. King Corbin has proved to be a thorn in the Big Dog's side, as he pinned Reigns in a TLC match at the eponymous pay-per-view. It's only a matter of time before King Corbin becomes World Champion. With the WWE management behind him, the sky is the limit for Corbin.
