#4 Sami Zayn needs to win at Clash of Champions

Sami Zayn was able to defend his Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania against Daniel Bryan before he went on hiatus. When The Liberator was missing from WWE TV, the company crowned a new Champion.

Since Zayn's return to SmackDown, he has made it clear that he is the real Intercontinental Champion, which has caused some issues for Jeff Hardy, who now holds the Championship.

Zayn has been an entertaining part of SmackDown over the past few weeks, but if he loses the triple threat match at Clash of Champions on Sunday night, then he technically no longer has a claim to the Championship

Zayn takes on Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles on Sunday night with the winner taking home the Intercontinental Championship and the right to call themselves the champion. It would be an interesting swerve if Zayn is able to win the championship he never lost.

Roman Reigns was able to make his return to the company and pick up the Universal Championship he was originally scheduled to win at WrestleMania, and hopefully, Sami Zayn can do the same at Clash of Champions so that his current storyline can continue.
