While Owens has teased moving to NXT, for now, it is quite certain that a match between the two sworn enemies will take place in the future - it just won't happen at Clash of Champions, unfortunately.

While Daniel Bryan continues to be one of the most important Superstars on the WWE roster, this is the second consecutive PPV he will not be competing on.

However, it seems that the company has decided to go in a different direction as The Big Dog will be facing Bryan's former associate Erick Rowan at Clash of Champions while Bryan watches from the sidelines.
