#4 Both the World Champions were not available for selection tonight

Let's be honest here, most of the discussions about the #1 draft pick before the show were centered around the two World Champions - the WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar, and the Universal Champion, Seth Rollins. Maybe a couple of bold predictions were for "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt to become the first pick.

But just a day before the draft, WWE.com announced preliminary Draft Pools to determine the Superstars available for the selection on day one and two of the draft. Surprisingly, many major names were missing from the day 1 pool, including both the WWE and Universal Champion.

While Bray Wyatt was available for selection and was also picked up by SmackDown in the first round, it was a correct call to go with a Champion as the No.1 pick. In the absence of Seth and Brock, Becky was arguably the biggest draw on the list and hence was picked up by RAW.

With Sasha Banks moving to SmackDown in round 2, it would be interesting to see who would challenge The Man for her title next. Maybe Monday Night RAW next week would give us a better idea as to what would the Women's division looks like.
