WWE: Five almost injuries

Injuries are part and parcel of a WWE wrestler’s life. Some are just nagging while others are life-threatening. But there is also a probability when a particular move could have taken a toll on the bodies of the performers during a match, but did not. Here are some injuries that looked wicked but the wrestlers were able to fight it through and make their matches quite memorable.

5. Lita almost breaks her neck again.

Two women faced each other to win the Women’s title in the main event of Raw. This has since become one of the most memorable Raw moments. The match was carried by some of the most spectacular moves by 2 women, mostly by Lita. The suicide dive was one of them.

4. Shawn Michaels keeps the show going

Most fans will remember this match as Ric Flair’s retirement match but what made the match special was HBK and Flair’s performances. With that moonsault in the match Michaels could have stopped his own show but instead the show went on.

3. Benoit with another crazy move

There is one common entity in this list. All the superstars are flying. Whether it’s a suicide dive or a moonsault, all of them could have hurt more than a normal move on the mat. Benoit has had a career made out of crazy moves. One of those moves were a top rope head butt, which is speculated to have turned his life around for the worse.

2. Brock Lesnar

After Lesnar climbed the top rope, he crashed like thunder and the entire arena went berserk. This is one of the most spectacular and memorable botches in WWE history He still had one last F-5 in him and he went on to win the match.

1. RVD

ECW is not the safest place on earth. It is where violence takes its extreme form. And here is RVD talking about an atrocious injury. It is not entertaining at all when he describes it but despite that he was competitive in future shows.
